Have an accident, loose you life, kill someone else, and many other very bad things can happen. Driving a car today takes your undivided attention. A car is no place to multitask. Anyone who does this has no business on the road, and is a fool. Amen. The human brain isn't good at multitasking in the "common" sense of the word. And this regardless of any claims made to the contrary. Neurologists are confirming (not finding - they've already found out) that the manner after which the brain functions makes it a "one-thing-at-a-time" kind of machine. What the brain is good at is switching from one task to another. This promotes the illusion that some people are good at multitasking. But, in truth, they really aren't doing "two things at once" as some might think. Texting or doing anything else while driving pulls the attention of the driver from the task of operating the vehicle. It makes driving while texting or some other egregiously foolish thing like that border on criminal. This is being written a week or so after the crash of a commuter passenger train in Southern California where 25 people were killed and over a hundred injured. The train's engineer effectively ran red lights telling him to stop and drove his string of cars into a freight train. He died in the "accident" with some of his passengers, but was texting "a lot" during his run - and up to about 22 seconds before the crash. Better for him (probably) that he was killed in that crash. (Nothing personal here. How would you feel if a family member or loved one was among the fatalities? And would an expensive trial and a long prison term bring anyone back?) This was a train wreck. Something that takes several seconds to develop and to happen. A car wreck happens in the blink of an eye. A link to the news story is below. Use your head on this one. Don't think for a second that you are the "exception to the rule" as regards neuralogical functioning. And don't let anyone else do that, either.

He could be telling the truth, but if this were to happen again phone the #! Ask who it is, and ask this person why they are calling. Don't accuse them of anything in case it is work related, but if she is seeing your boyfriend she will have great joy in telling you on the phone. Your boyfriend has no control over anyone calling him on his cell, and since he didn't erase the call off his cell phone he doesn't appear he is hiding anything unless he doesn't know how to erase his calls. I think by now he gets the idea that you are onto him. Don't let this one call ruin your relationship because sometimes some people do tell the truth. Are you asking for a way to use software to hack your phone in order to make free calls? I'm sure there's a way somewhere, somehow on a very small number of case-specific Mobile devices...

Phone usage is typically monitored remotely-- Your phone is borrowing bandwidth from cell towers, and your phone is clearly identified when it makes a connection to said cell tower. Conning your cell phone provider into giving you a free phone call is hardly worth the effort when you can simply use a free computer phone to make calls instead.

It depends on your carrier, but yes, you can. Not from your phone: you will probably have to call your service provider and have an operator/CSR block the number manually. But it is definitely possible.
