I snorted half of a seroquil and it had my trashed and it progressivly got heavier until I passed out. It gave me visual hallucinations. It was way heavy I would just stick with the xanax. Seroquil is not a good high up the nose.

Alprazolam is not generally used for depression. However, it is always best to be honest with your doctor. This way he/she can accurately access your symptoms and prescibe medications accordingly. If you took this medication and you really do have depression, just tell the doctor that. Especially if you felt that it helped. Alprazolam can be addictive though, if taken incorrectly, it is for short-term use. Maybe you can get a prescription for something more suitable for your symptoms. well xanax is a benzodiazepine and can interact/interfere with lots of different medications. its considered a "downer" so definitely any "uppers" like adderal etc. or street drugs like crystal meth/cocaine are going to make you "speedball" and will affect your heart in a major way. as far as a medication that is a DEFINITE NO NO to take with xanax is methadone. i actually had a friend who took both together and didnt wake back up. ive had friends who've gone to methadone clinics and get random drug screens and benzos (xanax/klonopin/valium/etc) have shown up in their system and they were immediately taken off the methadone. as far as any other medications, id be careful with any of them when taking xanax. xanax is super dangerous by itself not just because of its addictive properties, but it makes you loopy and most people usually dont even remember what they did the day before when they took the xanax. my advice: def dont take methadone but do research on interactions with any drugs you plan on taking with xanax. just be careful! ;)

Unless prescribed by your doctor you should never take Xanax with anything until you have cleared it at least with the pharmacist. It's a wonder you didn't end up in ER! Yes, it will show up in your drug test. There is nothing wrong with taking prescribed medications and admitting it to whomever is drug testing you, but to take anything else that is not prescribes to you, you already know the rules to that one.

I am in the process of withdrawing from xanax and after not taking any for 5 days i feel quite lightheaded and my vision is not so accute. However this was the case sometimes while i was taking the medicine as well. I am not sure if this is the general rule.
