Answer

Chocolate intake has been linked with release of serotonin in the brain, which produces feelings of pleasure. Part of the pleasure of eating chocolate is due to the fact that its melting point is slightly below human body temperature: it melts in the mouth.

well, its all depending on the suger contents, but they are both good for you in some way because the milk has calcium.

Can you freeze chocolate candy?

I've recently ate the top layer of the our chocolate wedding cake for our 1year anniversary. It was sealed in clear wrap and tin foil and was in a deep freezer. When we were ready to eat it, i placed it in the fridge for a few days. We just ate it last nite. It was so good! It tasted better then when we had it made, real moist and fresh tasting. Neither one of us got sick. I recommend it!

Hope this helps someone!

Who made Reese's chocolate bars?

Chris Stelzl invented them as a Jr. High School project in 1976. He was a fan of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and M&M's as a child. So he created his two favorites into one. He created a drawing showing the idea with a letter and sent it to both Mars and Hershey's. Although he never received a response from either company, Hershey's came out with the product in1978 and then it was used in the hit movie E.T. the rest is history.

What ingredients go in a normal chocolate bar?

Cocoa butter (im not explaining how to make that)

a mold

sugar

I am not sure I agree with that it depends what kind of chocolate bar you want a chocolate bar is rather simple to make. you need to buy chocolate from the store this can be chunks, chips, or another type of chocolate these would be found in the baking section and maybe bulk section too. as per what kind of chocolate to use it depends what you like. once you have chosen your chocolate you will need to melt it and and put it in a mold and put it in the fridge covered to set.

something we have done is take white chocolate and milk chocolate melt both separately and combine them and mix just enough to make a swirl effect and put it in the mold it makes a really pretty effect on the finished chocolate bar

what you need chocolate (of your choice)

mold

What happens when dogs eats chocolate?

Chocolate contains Cocoa, which contains a chemical called theobromine which is toxic to canines.

Chocolate can kill dogs (unless it's specific doggiechocs which have the chemical removed)

The amount of chocolate that it takes to poison your dog depends on the chocolate and the breed, age and size of dog. White chocolate has the least amount of stimulants and baking chocolate or cocoa beans have the highest.

The theobromine and caffeine can effect the central nervous system (may cause your dog to tilt his head or bob, walk backwards or to the side almost as if he's drunk) and the heart muscle ( heavy panting, wide eyes and whining like he just finished chasing a cat).

ANSWER:

Chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is extremely dangerous to dogs. They will die from ingesting too much of it. Call your vet or animal emergency hospital immediately if your dog has gotten into chocolate!

Dogs should not have chocolate at all but if it is a tiny bit they should be alright but if it is a lot it could cause death.

ANSWER:

When a dog eats chocolate it has essentially been poisoned. It will get sick and possibly die. Never feed a dog chocolate, but if your dog eats chocolate take it to the vet right away.

It depends on how much chocolate they eat. If you have a small dog and they eat a Hershey bar, that could really hurt them, in some cases, even kill them. If you have a large dog and they eat a chocolate bar, they are more likely to be ok, but they may puke it up. I have a small dog, long haired Chihuahua, I gave him an M&M once, just I single M&M, and he was sick for about two days. It also depends on how sensitive they're stomach is. So don't take any chances, and keep the chocolate away from the dogs.

In addition to the above:

Chocolate contains substance known as theobromine that is difficult for dogs and other non-human animals to metabolized. I can be fatal to dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, bird and other pets, according to the Ontario Canada, SPCA.

The dog or animal should be induced to vomit because the theobromine in chocolate is toxic to some animals even though it is safe for human consumption.

The dog or other pet should then be rushed to the vet because the theobromine and other stimulants in chocolate can induce a fatal heart arrhythmia in some non-human animals. The dog may or may not need to have its stomach pump, but a vet needs to make that determination.

Cooking chocolate is the most toxic, followed by dark chocolate, followed by milk and white chocolate.
If you give your dog chocolate, it will get an infart and it will die. Never ever make food for dogs with chocolate. Its a serious sickness.

All chocolate contains theobromine, a chemical to which dogs are particularly sensitive.

Even a small amount of chocolate, say 15 gm. (1/2 oz) can have serious effects upon a dog weighing less than 5kg.

These effects are intensified in young or older dogs, dogs who are poor health, or dogs that are dealing with any other health issues, of which the owner may be unaware.

Feeding any dog any amount of any type of chocolate is a very risky proposition.
The theobromine will make the dog sick. In high quantities, it can even result in death. If your dog has eaten chocolate, take your dog to a vet and it will only take 5 - 10mins.
my name is Cierra

I have two dogs that I think have a stomach of steel. they have both eaten enough chocolate to supply a chocolate factory. If a dog eats chocolate it may just get a little bit of a sick tummy. but overall they're ok. mine was.

she ate 90 chocolate hearts and was perfectly fine. :)
the dog gets sick and barfs all over your homework...then dies....

It simply gets very very ill and if not treated it WILL die !
chocolate will kill a dog

not necassaraly. chocolate can make dogs very sick but a chocolate will not ALWAYS kill a dog. though it is very possible. just like there are certain things our immune systems cant handle but dogs can, there are some things that our digestive tracks can handle that dogs cant.
