Would a married man ever forget about his ex mistress if she was his first one?

* In some cases yes, the man can move on and forget the woman he 'thought' he was in love with. However, there are some men that have a meaningful relationship with a past love and will always remember her, but of course, not tell their wife. None of us knows if someone we once dated has thought of us during the course of their marriage and it doesn't really matter as we all need to move on in our lives.

Which qualities will enrich your marriage?

Honesty. Open communication. Faithfulness.

All these things are covered in the marriage vows.

How do you handle rude brother's wife?

If rude behavior is one-off, ignore it. If rudeness persists, try one of these:

  1. continue to ignore her behavior (takes nerves of steel)
  2. respond in matter of fact manner each time
  3. tell her how her behavior hurts you and ask her not to be rude

Assumption: "you want to handle her not avoid her"

How do you tell a friend that her behavior is hurting her marriage She is always running around visiting friends instead of being at home with her husband She has been married less than a year.?

I don't think it's your place. It is up to the husband to tell her to come and stay home. Keep out of it.

AnswerYou shouldn't be the one telling her, it should be her husband. Do you know for sure it is hurting her marriage? Has the husband said it is affecting them. Maybe that is the way she was before and he accepted it and now she doesnt understand that she needs to devote a bit more time to her marriage. I would ask the husband if he minds and if so, inform him he needs to be the one to tell her. If's he's too chicken then it really isn't your place......If you feel the need to get involved then be prepared to loose her as a friend because she is a big girl and is going to do what she wants anyway....

Do symbolic interactionists see marriage as an overloaded institution?

Depends on the scientist, but in general yes. They use that as a reason for why so many people (in America and other countries with equal marriage laws for women) have more divorces. Today, when two people enter a union like marriage--they enter with high and almost unreal expectations out of the other person. The term overloaded institution basically means that the union is based on high amounts of emotional financial and other forms of support.

How can you catch your husband cheating for a low cost?

Either get a girlfriend to go along with you, or do it yourself and follow him. I did it with my first husband and my sister-in-law accompanied me. It's always good to have a camera and a witness. Although you might luck out on taped telephone conversations they may not be admissable in court. However, the tapes will no doubt convince your lawyer that indeed your husband is cheating and he may find a loop hole to use these tapes. Also, the judge presiding over the case can also give permission as to whether tapes are played or not. Here is what I did: Checked my phone bill and found phone #s (which I phoned) and usually there was a female at the other end. I also was able to get my hands on a telephone book that you could look up phone #s and get the name of the person. Checked out Charge cards and caught him stupidly enough using his charge card to rent a motel room on more than one occasion. My sister-in-law invited herself along when I went to follow my husband one night. I was sneaky enough to borrow someone else's car so my husband wouldn't recognize mine. I caught him in a bar with 2 women! Good luck Marcy

If my husband of 7 years says wants to be with me when he's sober but says he doesn't want to be with me when he's drunk or mad what should I believe?

Remember that drunk people are often very different from their true selves. You should talk to him about how his attitude when drunk makes you feel, and convince him to cut back or at least keep it under control.

Usually girls are said to be more mature mentally than boys of same age so is it a gud decision to marry a boy of same age?

It seems to me that maturity greatly varies from person to person and there'd be little reason to believe a random girl is at all significantly more likely to be more mature than a random guy of the same age. That said, the decision to marry should be based on what each person actually knows about the other and not on some rule of thumb. As far as I can tell, there is no reason to suspect people of the same age will have a less successful relationship.

How do you get rid of infatuation?

You can't. The more you try and figure out how to stop it, the more you're going to become infatuated with that person. But if it's infatuation, I wouldn't worry. It should go away like most puppy crushes and/or lust do.

If a guy spends a lot of time away from home could there problems in his marriage?

Did he used to spend more time at home in the past? When did he start spending nights out more?

Does he seem upset or regretful that he can't be at home more? Does he seem interested in his family when he's at the house, or does he keep to himself? Some people have to work overttime or attend classes, but they try to spend as much time as they can with their families.

There is a probability that there are problems if he is preferring to be gone from home. Such behavior could also indicate that the person is having an affair.

something is misssing of course , maybe he has many gf's & rather hang out looking for new flesh ...what a life !

Can you use darling for male or husband?

Yes, you can most definitely use the call "darling" for a male or for your husband.

It is a more reserved and somewhat antiqued call for a male/your husband in this present day and age(the 21st century), but the call "darling" was widely used by English women when making a request unto their husbands(e.g. "Would you mind fetching me Louisa, Darling?"). Though not used as much as it used to be, many people in English-Speaking Western-European nations still use the call when speaking to/with males. Though it is somewhat taboo for one male to use the call "Darling" while speaking to another male, as in the sense that in European culture, the call "Darling" is an affectionate word such as how English speaking Americans may call someone "Baby", "Hunny" or "Boo".
