Well I've heard that a 'step cousin' is a step parent's nephews and nieces. Meaning if your father and mother got a divorice, your mother remarried to a man who is now your 'step dad' then his brother or sister's children are your 'step cousins'.

Also, I believe to use it with my other 'cousin'. I believe step father or mother means a father or mother because of marriage, not a blood parent. So, I believe that when my aunt married my uncle, my uncle became my 'step uncle' or 'uncle by marriage' and his brother's or sister's children are now my 'step cousins' or 'cousins by marriage'.

This may be incorrect but that is how I choose to describe my aunt's husband's brother/sister's kids. I like to be able to call them my cousins because I am so close to them!

The only thing that is required is to fill out the application and send it to the inmate for his signature which must be notarized. All Colorado prisons have notaries. My own Father in law thinks it can only be the wife of your brother, or the sister of your husband but these references disagree, so I call my husband's brother's wife my sister in law.

Bad idea. If you really love this person and you want your future spouse and your parents to build a solid relationship do not get married without their consent. Whatever the holdup is, try to work that out first, even if it means to put the wedding off a bit. Now if your parents a being unfairly unreasonable and you and your partner are mature enough to handle the consequences then hey the choice is yours. Good luck on your decision. LOL Also from 35 plus women can go into peri-menopause and later (approx. 50) can go into full menopause (ceasing of periods) and become cranky, depressed, have headaches, aching, bloating, depression and hot flashes just to mention a few symptoms. I agree with what Redbeard says as far as spending some quality time with your girlfriend or wife. Often men can take their girlfriends/wives for granted and sometimes the women can do the same things with the men. Women certainly do like romance and quality time with their partner and it's not all about sex, but having romantic dinners, just going for walks together, discussing your future dreams for the future and have a lot of good belly laughs along the way.

Women are complicated little creatures and since most of us don't even understand ourselves it is highly inevidable that men sure don't understand them. LOL

As you know women up to their 40's or a bit more can go through their periods leaving them cranky, and a "no touch" attitude. Also if the women is in their mid 40's on they can be going through menopause that can cause the same mood swings. This is no reflection of their male counterpart. Don't forget ... life for a married couple can be a drudge at times and often boring leaving each party feeling unappreciated.

If your wife is not as loving as she once was, but is home cooking and cleaning or looking after the kids and is just cool towards you, chances are she needs a break (dinner out or a nice romantic getaway.) If she is out in the evenings (sometimes not coming home) you have a problem!

If your wife is going out at night you have every right to voice your concerns. If you are working and coming home and the house/apt., is a mess, etc., then you should also voice your concern. Silence is the evil deed here. Communication is everything.

Also, "look unto yourself." When was the last time you told her YOU loved HER. When was the last time you bought her flowers for no reason whatsoever other than the fact you love and appreciate her? When was the last time you had a romantic evening out? Better still, when was the last time you sat down with her and suggested you both work on a plan for a little vacation away?
