In the oil tanks the residue after tank cleaning gets pumped into the slop tanks which are 2 tanks usually the last 2 tanks on the cargo deck.

after all the residue has been pumped into the slop tanks they will be heated up and that will help the separation of oil and water. when a water layer has been measured under the oil the water will get pumped out. during this pumping a sample of water will continually get measured for oil content. The measurement is getting performed by ODME (Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment) and if the measurement is higher than 15 PPM (Parts Per Million) the valves will automatically close and bypass the overboard discharge.
The left over sludge or slop will be send to a plant ashore for burning.

Is your filter in? I'm asking for the simple reason that your running at 2-3lbs, if you were running at 25+ then I would say your having a restriction problem somewhere. (Filter, skimmers, maindrains and so on.) Is this a new or old pool? Did you have a pool company maintaining it? where are you from (weather)? maybe a suction line has a hole or crack. This would be a good one to look in to. Did you pressure test all lines?
Check your pump impeller to see if it is clogged with debris. This will cause it to lose operating pressure. Also if you have a bleed line on your filter open it slightly to see if air will blow out. If it does, you have air trapped in your lines and this indicates that you have an air leak somewhere.

Actually, you may have a downstream restriction. Were you cleaning your pool? I did and the DE filter was damaged so it was bypassing actually filtering anything; salt water generator became clogged. I heard the pump sound change so I went to check, reading nearly zero on the filter but pump was working (would self-prime). Removed and cleaned the salt water generator ... pressure problem solved.

You don't necesarilly have to take your recycled trash to a recyclling place but you can reuse glass bottles at home for foods, storage, decoration,etc. also with plastic bottles, old ice cube trays, old bedframes, etc... And desposing of harmful chemicals the proper way is also another way to prevent land pollution...there are more of course so just google it

Hepa are good for large and even many small particles. However they do very little to stop toxic vapors. Such as * Carbon Monoxide * Nitrogen dioxide * Sulphur dioxide * Suspended particles including PM-10, particles less than 10 microns in size. * Benzene * Formaldehyde * Polycyclic hydrocarbons And even if your car has charcoal filters unless you change them ever couple months it does little good. Some good news about a car that you can't say about a motorcycle is that if you are going into a tunnel or you enter into heavy traffic you can close your windows and trap the clean air in your car for a short time. But if you don't get out of the area quickly then it just as dirty as if you where on a motorcycle.
