Depends on the radio. Early Transistor radios started with just one and it was to replace the valve which was in turn used for signal amplification.

Today, a sophiticated radio may have several chips inside them that can contain millions of transistors each. There is no absolute definitive answer to this question.

Check for a blown fuse. It could have 2 fuses. Maybe an inline fuse along with the fuse in the fuse panel.

Leave the unit on for at least an hour, maybe even an hour and a half. 'Code Wait' should go away and you should then be able to input the correct code; only three tries!

You may need to do a little research, and find the correct wire adapter. You will also need an adapter to make the stereo fit in the bay, but they are usually quite inexpensive, and look nice.

The biggest downside to the Monte Carlo (and other G-bodies) is the rear speakers, which are 4"x10". That's an odd size, but high quality aftermarket speakers are available. G-bodies do have a nice sized trunck, and there is a perfect spot for a subwoofer enclosure right behind the rear seat.

That's the "600" (or "60") displayed near low end of the AM radio dial.

The first two items on the list are not used for radio communication:

The last item on the list ... 6,000,000 Hz or 6 MHz ... is in the international

broadcast bands. It can be tuned on any "short wave" radio.

It depends on where you work. Wearing headphones would imply that you don't want to be bothered by anyone and prefer your own little world--that leads to comments like "He/She is not a team player" and other office snarking. If a worker in my office was sitting at their desk with headphones on, they would be told not to and for a second offense fired in about 5,4,3,2,1,............OF course I am in the US where business does anything it wants to employees.

This is where it depends entirly on the business and your boss if he lets you then its fine. Some business let you listen to a raidio if its kept low but like in my case i listen to a mix up punk and heavy metal so in my case i was actually told to wear headphones by my boss (no matter how low you play it Misfits, Blitzkid, and Trivium allwasy seem to bother someone) but keep them low enouph to still hear when people where talking near me. I was "team leader" at my last job so i wouldn't say it hurts any kind of team workmanship and if i was wearing them it never stoped people from talking or shooting ideas with me.

The iPad does have a Broadcom chip, which is capable of receiving and transmitting FM signals. This means that not only is the iPad capable of listening to FM radio, but it will be able to work like an iTrip, so you can listen to music in your car. It is important to note, however, that there is no software (app) for this yet, but Apple is currently developing an FM Radio app. The only question is: Will there be an app for transmitting FM?

This is a difficult question to answer because the popularity of radio stations is surveyed based on "markets"-- also called cities (and their surrounding areas). So, the Phoenix market has its own ratings, as does the Tucson market, and other large and medium sized cities in the state. There is no one station that is the most popular station for the entire state.

That said, Phoenix is the largest market in Arizona, and in early 2012, KOOL-FM was number one in the Arbitron ratings (classic hits). And in the second largest market, Tucson, the number one station was KIIM-FM (country). It should also be noted that certain stations, while they may not be number one in the over all ratings for their market, score very well with certain age groups. Thus, a city may have a very popular station that is all-sports, or all-talk or plays music for a particular ethnic minority group. In Phoenix, for example, KFYI is an AM station which broadcasts news and conservative talk; like many stations with this format, it has a very loyal audience and is very popular with older listeners. And similarly, KHOT-FM is a station that broadcasts Spanish-language music and news especially for Mexican-Americans; it too has a loyal audience of people who tune in specifically for the kind of programming it provides.

The company EHAM only offers Ham Radio. There are really no services in EHAM except the fact that it's a radio, which is most likely not a service at all.
