You take the old one off and put the new one on...lol...you have to take apart the black case in the front driver side...how to do that i dont know...but it revolves around that...as for the lights...check your fueses...i doubt its a bulb...if its not your fuse, check your wireing, then the bulb

Ford had the radio and windows routed through the transmission netural safety switch and when it was going out would cause very strange things to happen with the radio and windows. ask the engineers I don't know why they did that. Try explaining it to a 70 year old man that's done his oen work on cars for years.

Yes you can add auxiliary audio input to any stereo but you will need to solder a 5 pin aux 3.5 jack into the radio board before the radio preamp after the FM output, there are 2 cables for audio in 2 cables for audio out and 1 for ground,

when you insert the headphone style jack the 5 pin aux jack will stop the audio from the FM and play the audio from the external source

The reset code is specific to the radio. Look in and on the glove compartment for the code and in the owners manual. If it is not there you need the serial number of the radio and have to call the dealer for the code.

I am rewiring a 71 super beetle. So far I have connected one of those half as wide connectors on a red wire to the K lug on that little light. Black power wire coming from a green wire on the emergency flasher pin #15 should connecto to the little #15 lug.

A Blue wire should connecto to the little #61 lug. This wire comes from main harness and GEN warning light on speedo. One or all of these wires with tiny connectors should ne hanging around in there somewhere. Good luck.
