The 2005 Acura NSX runs on regular unleaded.

The engine needs 3 things in order to run. They are fuel, air, & spark. If any one of these is missing the engine will stall. You may have a partially clogged fuel filter, the fuel pump may be failing, your spark plugs or wires may need replacing, or it can be any number of other things. Your check engine light should be on, and a scan with an OBD2 scanner will lift the code that has been set. This code will tell you what part is being effected and help you determine what is wrong.

WIPER MOTORS SHOULD LAST FOR MANY YEARS. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY CHECKED THE FUSE BOX AND USED A LIGHT METER TO SEE IF THERE IS A BREAK IN THE WIRE, THAN IT IS YOUR MOTOR. YOU MUST RAISE HOOD AND REMOVE BLACK PLASTIC SHROUD, BETWEEN YOUR HOOD AND WINDSHIELD. YOU MAY HAVE TO GOTO THE DEALER TO REPLACE THE ROUND CLIPS BUT THEY MAY BE ABLE TO BE REUSED IF REMOVED CAREFULLY. A FEW BOLT AND WIRES AND THAT SUCKER IS OFF. CHECK JUNKYARDS FOR USED MOTORS AS I BET THEY ARE PRICEY NEW.

i own a 99 rl and i have 20x8.5 on mine the only problem i have is a lil rubbing in the back fender with some small mods. you should be able to clear that's prob.

It means your SRS system (Airbags) have been diasabled due to a preceived faulty condition. This is typically due to faulty readings coming from the weight sensor in the passenger seat. Acura has issue a warranty extension on the 2000 RL ABS system. You should be able to take to a dealership and have repaired free of charge. Just remember that if the light stays on you have no airbag protection in the event of an accident.

The check engine light (service engine soon) comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to AutoZone or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.

the 1996 Acura RL does not have a distributor, nor does it have any plug wires, it does however have 6 coils and 6 spark plugs. You will have to remove each coil in order to change the spark plug underneath it. But it's easy, just two bolts per coil. Don't strip the aluminum heads or you will be paying for it big time!

I dont own a 2004 rav , but i was doing some research on pt cruiser and got scared to death about what i read I guess im gonna buy the RAV !! aNY WAY THERES A POST that says all you need do is put the trip meter in Odometer... And shut the car off .. hold the reset button down and and turn key back on again ... KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTON IN !after a bit the light stops blinking and its all reset.. Daughters 1998 RAv 2wd 4door has been an absolute Gem ! requireing only tires , and standard maintenance for 48k miles..

If it's anything like my Dodge Dakota, the maintenance required light is to inform you that the emissions system is due for an inspection. Some earlier models had a button behind instrument cluster to reset it, but I've been told that on my 89 Dakota it requires a trip to the dealer. It doesn't indicate a problem, just a cruel trick to make you visit the dealer! I just took the bulb out of mine.

the fuel pump relay is up under the steering wheel, its a small black box . i had mine replaced in a matter of 5 mins, my car wouldn't start, and everyone was saying that it wasnt getting any gas and the relay was the issue. the acura mechanic told me it usually goes on during the summer from using the AC a lot

How do I turn off the Flashing Maintenance light (oil change reminder)? 1. Turn the power switch IG-ON and make sure that the ODO/TRIP meter is the odometer display. 2. Turn the power switch OFF. 3. While pushing the "ODO/ TRIP meter switching & TRIP meter reset" switch, turn the power switch IG-ON. 4. Until the resetting is completed, the reminder light flashes. 5. The resetting is completed when the reminder light turns OFF. Release the "ODO/TRIP meter switching & TRIP meter reset" switch. 6. After the resetting is completed, the ODO/TRIP meter displays as a set of zeros for 1 second. Then, the ODO/TRIP meter displays the your normal odometer mileage.

This really works - keep holding the button down until the lights go out!

The left and right side bulbs will need different procedures. I replaced the right (passenger) side bulb as follows:

1. Get something to protect your knuckles first. I skinned mine! 2. Use a screwdriver to gently pry off the connector. This might need a little work. Mine somehow got stuck to the prongs of the bulb and refused to come off. Eventually two of the prongs came off with it. If this happens, get a pair of pliars and pull them off later. Try not to damage the connector. 3. Peel back the black rubber gasket that covers the bulb. 4. There is an U-shaped spring clip that holds the bulb in place. Push down on the top arm of the spring and move it up and out of the latch. The spring will then rotate back out of the way. The bulb should now come out easily. 5.Put the new bulb in, make sure it sits securely. There is only one position for it to sit snug. When seated properly, the middle prong will be horizontal and above the two side prongs. 6. Put the clip back on. 7. Put the gasket back on. There is an arrow on the gasket showing the top, this is supposed to be aligned with the mark on the housing. Don't know how critical that is. 8. Now just pop the connector back on.

You are done. Be sure to test the lights.

If you are replacing the driver side light. it is a little more tight access to get in there. You may need to remove the coolant containers before you can access the headlight housing. Other than that, it should be the same.

how do i unlock radio 1997 acura rl 3.5

One way of doing this is from under the front fender. Locate the seam in the deflector panels under the fender. You can remove several of the clips or screws (I don't remember which they are) and slide your hand and arm up toward the light between the panels. You can unscrew the bulb, pull it out and put in another. You may have to work simultaneously from the engine compartment to assist in this process. It may help to have another working with you. It is kind of hard but it can be done.

The OBDII connection is located under the ashtray in the center console, plull out the ashtray and lift the flap of rubber.
