The switch is bolted on the side of the transmission. Remove the bolts and the wiring connector to remove the switch for replacement.

The 1997 Acura intake air temperature sensor is located on the air filter housing. The sensor will be on the right hand side of the air filter housing.

I believe it's on the driver's side back of the engine on the top...a black round canister mounted, looks identical to the filter listed on the parts websites for that car (which I own too).

yes but you have to raise the rear suspension got to auto zone and purchase a supension springs riser kit.

If the car doesnt have a super or turbo charger and if you dont use nitrous then yes you can use low grade fuel in the car and it wont hurt it what so ever.Although if the grade is below the reccomended octane in your manual then a knocking noise will result as the piston fires. this isn't mechanicalbut just the noise of the gas igniting

the neutral start switch is located on the right side of the transmission housing. It can be adjusted or if it fails continuity check must be replaced. to adjust put trans select lever in N.loosen the bolt at the top right and align the groove in the end of the control shaft with the vertical index line on the switch by pivoting the switch, then tighten the bolt. In park or neutral you should have continuity between the 2nd and 3rd terminals from the right on the bottom looking into the connector with the snap clip on top. If not you will need to replace it.

In the center console, lift up the ash tray dish. There should be a rubber flap that covers the OBD connector

My 97 RL was shaking badly too despite new tires & l just had both cv axles replaced and the shaking ended.

spark plugs...air filter...positive crankcase ventilation valve around six dollars. and fuel filter under hood by drivers side close to master brake cylinder if you have not changed in last 25,000 miles.

The engine air filter is on the driver side of the engine, right near the battery. Not readily apparent because the top of the filter compartment is not a rectangle shape. A bit hard to get the old one out (had to remove a plastic cover along the side of the engine compartment in order to remove the filter compartment) but do-able.

Disconnect the battery, wait 2 minutes and reconnect the battery. All fault codes must be cleared from the SRS control moduleâ??s memory in order to reset the SRS indicator light. All of the underlying problem must be fixed to prevent the SRS indicator light from illuminating again.

POP THE HEATER VENT ON TOP OF RADIO OFF. YOU CAN PULL IT OFF, JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK OFF THE PLASTIC CLIPS. THERE SHOULD BE 2 SCREWS THERE FOR THE UPPER BRACKETS FOR THE RADIO. NEXT, CENTER CONSOLE NEEDS TO BE LOOSEN. PULL ASHTRAY OUT, THE GEARSHIFT COVER ALSO NEED TO COME OFF. TAKE OUT ALL HARDWARE, NOW YOU CAN MOVE THE CONSOLE BACK OR TO THE SIDE SO YOU CAN GET ACCESS TO THE LOWER BRACKET HARDWARE. THE HEAD UNIT WILL NOW COME OFF. (REMEMBER WHEN YOU DISCONNECT THE WIRES, THE SECURITY CODE WILL KICK IN IF YOU WANT TO REINSTALL) RESOLUTION FOR THAT IS ..THERE IS A SERIAL NUMBER ON THE HEAD UNIT. CALL ANY ACURA DEALER WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER AND THEY WILL GIVE U THE CODE. JUST SO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THE RL SYSTEMS ARE AMPLIFIED SO WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT THE NEW AFTERMARKET HEAD UNIT WILL NOT WORK AFTER YOU HOOK UP THE WIRE HARNESS. YOU WILL EITHER NEED TO BYPASS THE FACTORY AMP OR REWIRE THE SPEAKERS. OR YOU WILL NEED TO HOOK UP THE BLUE WIRE OFF THE NEW HEAD UNIT TO THE WIRING HARNESS TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK WITH THE FACTORY AMP..IF NOT, YOU MAY HAVE TO SEE IF THEY HAVE SPECIAL HARNESS FOR THIS CAR. IF YOU GUYS ARE WONDERING HOW DID I KNOW THIS, AND NO I DON'T GO BREAKING INTO PEOPLE'S CAR STEALING RADIOS. The thermostat housing is located on the intake manifold at the end of the upper radiator hose. It has 2 bolts attaching the housing to the manifold. When you remove the upper radiator hose, the 2 housing bolts, and the housing, you will see the thermostat.

Not correct in all cases. On our 97 2.2 CL the tstat is at the end of the LOWER radiator hose. This is toward the rear of the engine compartment and one must disconnect the air plenum to get at the tstat housing bolts. There are plenty of wires in various harnesses to be held down and away to get the lower bolt out.

The 2001 Acura NSX has double overhead cam (DOHC).

The OBD2 connector is located underneath the ash tray.

our 97 rl had a epa recall that fixed the problem they took out the intake manafold and cleaned it. It is a epa mandated repair at no cost to you. It also made the engine smoother and better milage

It should be. I don't think there were any major changes in this regard from '04 to'05, but check your owners manual or the dealership to be sure. It is the same (but you won't find the procedure in the owner's manual). It is in the owners manual. ed724
