Who are the most successful ethnic group?
It depends what part of the country or world you are talking about. If you are in California it will be a very long list because there are so many diferent ethnicities in California. There are Hispanics, Whites, African American, Asians, and Arabs who make a large population of Los Angeles. They all make almost the same because they are all succesfull. If you are in South Dakota where there is a very large majority of whites the whites win for the reason of not much diversity of people. In New York it is the same as California so a lot of different cultures ake the same amount of money. DONT FORGET TO WATCH FRED ON YOUTUBE!! IT IS REALLY FUNNY WATCH IT!!

What are some good proana tips?
Every hour, at the absolute least, sip a glass of water. Except before meals, when it may cause you to eat less or make you feel a little queasy so you do not want to eat at all, it is better for weight reduction to sip during the day than to down a full glass. Consider having a water bottle in a location where you'll encounter it frequently—perhaps every 10 to 20 minutes—and drinking from it as soon as you see or notice it.

In some individuals this is true. If you look at starving children in Africa you will notice their little tummies are quite bloated. When the stomach doesn't get food it begins to bloat with gas. If a person has been starving for quite sometime it will also take awhile for them to introduce food back into their system and maintain a healthy level.
Anorexic individuals are the way they are because that is the only thing in their lives they can control. This condition often happens in models, professional ballerinas, and until the 70s Hollywood studios would dish out diet pills to their actors (especially women) like they were candy out of pez dispenser. Even to this day many actors are coming out of the closet and admitting they are Anorexic or Bulimic. For some women they see a fat person when they look at themselves in the mirror (their family or friends may think they look great as they are or may even think they look too thin and gaunt) and other women don't have much control over their lives so not eating is the only control they have.
Movies, magazines, television all strive to prey on the young to look thin, graceful, and thus, you will be promised that you'll become one of "the beautiful people." Companies that put out diet products WANT young women (the most gullible when it comes to weight loss) to buy their products so they really go to town making them believe they can look like some rock star or famous actress. Your body is your body, and by the way, those so-called "beautiful people" one sees in movies, magazines, etc., have had so much plastic surgery or Botox they'll be blinking out of the back of their heads in another 10 years. This doesn't even include the "body spray make-up" to give them that flawless look. There is lypo-suction to get rid of fat, of course plastic surgery which is becoming an epidemic with youth today (even in Canada.) Some kids as young as 12 are getting permission from their parents for plastic surgery. I know one young girl who graduated and her parents gave her a so-called great grad present .... plastic surgery for bigger breasts!
Some young women suffering from Anorexia do so because they have psychological problems. They could have had a trauma in their lives or in their young lives never had much control over themselves, so starving themselves is the only control they have. If young people think it's fun to be Anorexic it isn't and these poor young women spend many hours in private crying because inwardly they know they are in big trouble. They may think they still look fat, but somewhere in their minds they know they are starving themselves.
People with Anorexia or Bulimic need psychological help. If they don't get this help they could well die. The human stomach, in time will go into a "starvation mode" and that basically means the body will start feeding off of itself. If Bulimic (purging food after eating) the stomach being a muscle will get the message from the brain to continue to purge and the person will then have lost total control of what the stomach is doing, not to mention the devastation it does on the organs of the body. Young people that are always worried about their weight and are on constant diets, Anorexic or Bulimic (there are lots out there) will think they are getting away with it and promise themselves they will stop later down the road, end up with malfunctioning body organs or possibly strokes or heart attacks.

Is it okay for 15 year olds to starve themselves?
It is not OK for anyone to starve them selves because this activity leads to damage to the body.
Females who suffer from anorexia nervosa can have a safe and healthy pregnancy Think it's false?
Many females suffering from advanced anorexia nervosa lose their menstrual cycle as the body shuts down unnecessary (from a personal survival standpoint) bodily functions.
Disease caused by malnutrition?
Children weakened by malnutrition are at gravely higher risk of any infection and measles is one of the most virulent, spreading lethally and quickly among the unimmunized.
How can you Explain Anorexia to a 12 year old?

Do anorexic people lose weight quickly after they become anorexic?
Community Answer 1
To even be considered anorexic, one must have a BMI of less than 18. Once your BMI is that low, it it hard to drop weight as quickly as someone at a normal or overweight BMI. There are many other types of EDs, though, which can make you both loose or gain weight very quickly.

Community Answer 2
It completely depends on the individual. I know of people diagnosed with AN who have lost weight relatively slowly over a long period of time, and others who have dropped significant amounts of weight in a very short space of time. I myself have experienced many different rates of weight loss at different stages of my illness, dependant on many different factors, including metabolism, intake, mental health, medication etc.

Who is more prevalent to get anorexia teens or other age groups?
Teens. Because watch more media and want to be like the actors/actresses and the women are afraid of getting heavy set.
Bringing attention to it slightly aids it. It feeds into her idea that thinness is success and attention. HOWEVER! Ignoring it would be horrible because there are NUMEROUS medical complications that can arrise from anorexia. I would talk to her doctor and a psychologist.
Does anaorexia nervosa only occurs in wommen?
No.
About 10% or 1 out of 10 of those who suffer from anorexia nervosa are male.
Where is the battery located at in my 2008 lamborghini murciélago?
Check it under the hood... yeah.. you got it..
When I was about 18 years old, I thought about this. I was overweight by about 40lbs. I thought to myself, if thin people can purge and get scary skinny why can't I purge and get to a healthy weight? I decided to give it a go. At first it was a little strange, but I started to feel better after puking. It removed all guilt I had about eating large portions. I didn't throw up everything I ate. Only when i ate a large dinner or junk food. In about 6-8 weeks I had dropped 35lbs. The scale at GNC said I was only 2lbs over my ideal weight. I was so happy. Nobody asked how I did it. My husband wasn't concerned either. Everyone was just blown away. Especially people that I hadn't seen in a couple months. I was so thin and everyone told me how great I looked. I had reached my goal and decided to stop purging. It was rough to go back to eating normal because I still had that voice in my head and that full feeling in my stomach made me want to puke, but I stopped. As the years passed I gradually put weight back on, just 5 lbs or so a year. Now i am 35lbs over my ideal weight and I have been at the same weight for about 3 or 4 years. I was happy with my body for the most part. I wish I could get back to those thin days. Last fall I dropped a few pants sizes from stress and I loved how I looked. I gained it all back very suddenly and now I am once again unhappy with how I look. My clothes no longer fit and it's depressing. Last week I began purging again for the first time in 10 years. I already feel like I'm losing weight again. And once more, when I reach the weight I want to be, I will stop, but this time I think I will adopt more healthy eating habits. I make sure I drink plenty of fluids and take vitamins every night. I drink milk and never purge when I've eaten a small amount. I don't want my body to think I'm starving because it will slow the process. I am in no way advocating bulimia. It's only something that works for me, and if you're smart about it then it won't kill you. I suffered no adverse health effects from the 2 months I was bulimic and I don't think I will this time around either. I'm just very proud of myself for having the guts to give it another go. It's not for the faint of heart, I can tell you that.
not very long. you need to atleast eat a cup of veggies and fruits a day, maybe a piece of meat. ice cream only counts as carbs and dairy/calcium. the water part is good but add some veggies and fruits in with it, that would be much healthier than eating just ice cream.
What are some medical conditions that anorexia causes?

Where has anorexia originated from?
Anorexia really didn't "originate" anywhere, it was documented as a disease in the 1800's, but its affected people everywhere for centuries, there isn't really a way to map where it started, if it even did start in just one place.
Should you date an anorexic girl?
She will be very demanding and want privacy a lot, she probably would mind if you left the room while you eat, she will need accurate scales. Don't ask her questions about her weight and why she doesn't eat, it won't help her. Anyone suffering from anorexia hates their body and can't see why anyone else would like it so may not want to date.
It's up to you but you should really think about it, if you do decide to, you may get annoyed at how her emotion can be, and if you dump her, she may think she's too fat and not eat.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
