An ATV is not better than a simple van unless you are simply speaking about all terrain usage, a minivan would likely not be a good choice for off roading. Atv's are more environmentally friendly because they can go longer on fuel than a van.

Most ATVs are not, technically, street legal, so it doesn't matter how old they are. If it doesn't have a license plate, it's not legal for them to ride it on the street period.

Since the 10th didget is D it would be a 1984 model because in 1980 they started using a 17 didget VIN # and using the 10th didget for the year 1980 was A, 81 B, 83 C, 84 D and so on they did not use all the letters in the alphabet I cant remember all of them but I know the important ones. hope it helps

that knocking sound could be the connecting rod knocking because of the bearing being warn out do to low oil pressure or no oil all together. also it could just be the valves. some people hear the valves ticking and think its knocking. i have had many friends think that. valves ticking is a simple fix. just look up how the valves are suppose to be adjusted then take off the valve covers and with a feeler gauge measure how big the gap is.

This number here is actually hte model number, and the 95 in there means its a 1995

Yes, I personally think they are a great ATV. I have owned a raptor 660r, and I still liked the warrior better.

I have a 2005 Sportsman 500; in my manual, I could not find a horsepower rating. However, I did find these numbers: towing capacity is 1224 pounds, the front rack weight capacity is 90 pounds and the rear rack capacity is 180 pounds.

I know that these are not the horsepower numbers you were looking for, but I thought I would share them in case you are looking to haul and tow with your quad.

Use 4 cycle oil if the engine is a 4 cycle engine. Use 2 cycle if it is a 2 cycle. Use the weight oil recommended by the manufacture of your ATV.

you have to be 16 but no one realy follows the rules aslong as your not on the open road or in town if you live out in the country you could drive on the road but not in the city

You hold rb in the air and with the right joystick do a three move combo (example down right down) is lazy boy,to do a backflip hold rb on takeoff while holding down on the right joystick

I think the rule is that you need to be 14 to drive a full size quad on the streets in mexico but you cant drive it on the hi way. Noah.A.Andrews

its a 178fmn or GN300 engine manufactured by a company in china called WJSuzuki (the Gn part that company name gave me some clues). I've found it almost a perfect match for the Suzuki GN250 wiring diagrams. Some Suzuki parts are direct bolt ons (the clutch plates are same as the DRZ350, as is the sprocket - others may fit too but that's the bits I've used on mine).

Talk about cruddy aftersales service. Whilst it seems like a really good quad and has had a good riding life with me for almost a year now, their aftersales service is almost completely non-existant.

Underneath and just about in the middle of the skid plate. There should be a hole in the skid plate so you can get at it. Hope that helps

First take your seat off. then take your side panel off, find your spark plug wire to the spark plug, pull up until it comes off, make sure you are pulling on the boot and not the wire. then use your spark plug wrench that came with the ATV, it will fit right down in there. make sure its all the way down and turn to your left. Place the new plug the same way.
