As a vet nurse I have learned that the food depends all on the dog, getting a food from your local supermarket isn't always the best for your dog as it could contain things that gives your dog some stomach issues. Although the packaging looks good and says its high in protein, calcium etc its not always the best. Try heading to your vet and getting food from there 'Hills' 'Science Diet' 'Greenies' are all great types of food formulated for your canines needs. Also if you are going to change the diet of your dog make sure that he will eat it and just slowly change the diet so the body can digest the modification, hope this helped.

It is different for every woman, and for each woman it is different for each birth that she has! The average, expected thing is 1cm per hour (getting up to 10cm), however in reality it often takes a lot longer than this, particularly with a first baby. This is because after a first baby, the cervix often stays at 1cm dilated, so you are already 1cm dilated for the next baby. Sometimes you can start off quickly, dilating at 1cm per hour or even 1cm per 1/2 hour, but then get slower towards the end of labour.

It all depends on the baby for example some babies can't drink lipil or rather they can... but its best to ask the babys pediatrician... Lots of babys have gas or spit problems and they need special formula...

If it is your first baby this is about what you would expect, the baby will come when it is ready. 2/6/2008: I'm sure since you have already had 2 children that you are aware of what your body is telling you and are just anxious about the baby coming "early"... perhaps you are looking for some reassurance from other mothers, but be assured that anytime after 36 weeks, the baby could come and the important parts of baby's development are completed... but also know that your body can begin readying for baby's arrival WEEKS in advance of the actual birth date! I began dialating, softening and effacing at least three weeks before my son actually arrived! He ended up being 5 days late! You just don't know what will happen! That's why they call it "the miracle of birth"! Even your due date is really just a "guess" the doctor makes because the conception process is so mysterious and hard to pinpoint. Like the previous poster said, "baby will come when it is ready". That's so true! But be prepared that you may still have weeks ahead of you of waiting!
