But in my opinion the organic cot mattresses are the ones to look for as a 'natural cot mattress' just means the cot mattress is made from natural materials but doesnt mean that those materials are chemical free...so it could still have chemicals in it and have been sprayed with fire proofing chemicals, herbicides, pesticides etc...whereas organic cot mattresses have to have been certified to be called this, and so check they state 'certified organic' somewhere in the info or ask them for certification as they should have this; as it means one of the big independent bodies (soil association etc) has checked the cot mattress materials to make sure all the materials in the cot mattress are chemical free etc and from one of their approved sources.
