There is no "follicular phase of menstruation" when you're on hormonal birth control.
I think that if you are seriously afraid for what he might do, then you need to tell an adult that can help you when you tell him that will give you a safe place to go. Second, I went through a similar situation only I was engaged and 20. My mom was NOT happy to say the least, but now, I can barely get her to give me my son back she loves him so much. It will be hard but nothing melts a heart like a granchild. You need to get your priorities straight and figure out how to set a good example for your child and teaching them to have sex when they are mature enough to handle a child is the best start. I say that because I am supporting myself and my child with the help of my husband without my parents help which is what you need to figure out how to do. Finishing school is the best thing you can do, even if you have to take help from your parents or another adult, just don't let them treat you like a wounded puppy. Work for your help and earn their respect.
HI AM NEW TO THIS RIGHT BUT IF YOU'RE 16 MEANS YOU'RE OVER THU AGE YOU'RE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE SEX A THOUGHT I WAS pregnant AND MY MOM WAS ASKING ME EVERYDAY IT IS SCAREY AT THE BIGGIN AND THEN ONCE ITS BEEN A FEW MONTH OR WEEKS IT TENDS TO CHANGE AND THEN A WISH YOU ALL THE BEST MURCH LOVE XXXYou should start on birth control at least a few months before having sexual intercourse to be sure it has taken effect. See your gynecologist, and if you dont have one, get one.
I heard from a friend who started taking birth control that you need to take it about three months before you get married (or start having sex).
I would say a few month, except Depo-Provera. Depo-Provera works five minutes after you get the shot, so you're good to go. If you are getting married soon, you might want to consider using condoms for the first few weeks. Please ask your doctor if you are on the pill about how long you should wait. I was told to wait three weeks when I was on the pill.
I took the depo shot a few days after i got married, i didnt take any contraceptives in advance and used condoms for the first few days of my marriage. The depo worked great allright, 24 hours after i got the shot my doctor said i was good to go. If your wondering depo is a shot normally given every three months and is told to be 99% effective, during my 3 months i never took any extra precautions and i didnt get pregnant. Though it worked wonders, it also had its side effects, i had an increased appetite and gained at least 15 pounds and i lost my sexual drive. You really need to ask your doctor whats best for you, everyone's different. Also i have the pill now and was told it was safe after the first week of using it consistently, meaning everyday at the same time. Make sure if you use the pill to also use a condom with the pill within the first week or so to be on the safe side. So far so good.
Remember a pill is no good when not taken consistently and if you cant remember to do it everyday then your best bet is some other form of birth control.
I don't mean to offend, but it is fairly obvious none of the responding people have any medical sense. Combination pills, that is, birth control pills which have both estrogen and progestin analogues in them (i.e. Yasmin) are effective almost immediately. Combination pills when taken at ANY POINT in your menstrual cycle, are effective 7 days after starting them. If you take them within the first five days of your period, they are effective immediately. There is absolutely no reason to take the pill for months before having intercourse. No, but it can cause the baby to have heatlh problems. A high dose of birth control is offered as "the morning after pill." It's used to stop ovulation to prevent fertilization.
That is very risky. If you forget the pill a single day, the risk is probably fairly small; but anything above that will greatly increase your risk of an unwanted pregnancy.
yes, but you should go to a doctor if you want to, or even not end it and have the child Abbortion
You mean knowing whether you were still on birth control when falling pregnant? NO WAY. It is impossible to know so relax. If you work out when you conceived you can tellifyou were on birth control. However if you mean how do you know you are pregnant if you are using birth control, it is unlikely, it should rreally be called conception control, however if you think you may be, take a home test.
Yes you can. That is how most people get pregnant when they are on birth control. You should always use a second birth control method, like condoms, at all times any way
Birth control pills should stop your menstrual bleeding. I would suggest you stop the pills and talk to your doctor
Yes. Usually easier, assuming there are no problems with the reproductive system. Generally it is advised to wait at least 6 months before trying to get pregnant after stopping the birth control pill.
you could be pergant and having problems go to the doctor no joke it could be a tube pergancy
Ok I have several questions: What do you guys do during the week nights? How long have you been together? Has he made an disparaging remarks regarding your appearance? Does he go out to the bars with the guys on the weekend? What did you both used to do on the weekend when you were not pregnant? i am not sure at this point if it is indicative of cheating or just rudeness since you are pregnant and are sitting home alone while he is out having fun...
ANSWER:
I can't tell you if he is or not, but what you're going through never happened to me when I was pregnant with my first one. It was me who don't want to leave the house then because I don't feel sexy anymore knowing my stomach, but my doctor told me that it's natural for a woman to feel that way because of our hormones. But for a husband to feel this way, it does gives you suspicion, but maybe you can talk to your husband. Tell him how he makes you feel, and ask him why. You don't deserve this from him. It supposed to be your happy moment, but his making it less that!
Every other resource, including doctors, says that the IUD would be taken out even if you are planning on not keeping to baby. Another key fact is that most pregnancies that occur while using an IUD result in an eptopic pregnancy so they must be terminated.
You only need to change brands if you have some complaint about your current brand. I know there's an old wives tale out there that you have to change it every 7 years or something, but that's completely untrue and not backed up by science nor clinical experience.
Drinking on birth control will not harm you.
Well a lot of women do not learn they are pregnant till 6 or 7 weeks into their pregnancy. As long as you are not 6 months pregnant and taking birth control I think everything should be fine. Just stop taking it immediately and call your doctor if you are too concerned.
I lived in Alaska and went four-wheeling out on the islands every chance I got. So when I found out I was pregnant, I had a long chat with my doctor and she had the same opinion that I originally had. If you are planning on rough terrain, jumps and general wild riding then no, four-wheeling is completely out of the question. However, if you are planning on a gentle ride along the beach or out to a cabin being careful and going slow, then it's no different then driving down a country road in your car. Use your best judgement. If you have to question whether it's safe, you should probably hold off until after the baby is born. I would suggest waiting until the baby is born. Riding four-wheelers could really mess up the baby.
Babies, indeed come from there.
After sex, that is. I am sure you all know about that.
Now stop. You just forced your body to believe it was pregnant for the last three years and you expect it to jump back into the same menstrual rhythm that it last experienced over three years ago? You are only going to have a period when your body has something to flush and I seriously doubt that your body, miraculous as it certainly is, is capable of making these quantum leaps between pregnant, not pregnant, get ready to get pregnant again.
But, if there is any reason to think that you are pregnant, a trip to the doctor will take care of any doubt. I've been amazed and stunned before, I suppose it could happen again.

This could of been a miscarriage but there's no way of telling unless you have a quantitative beta HCG blood test performed. You need to see your doctor for this blood test. Miscarriage tissue is usually grey vein like. If you didn't experience this then you can rule out a miscarriage.
It is fine to just stop, there is no other way to stop. You may find that there is no change, or you may find that your menstrual cycle is longer or shorter than 28 days. If you are having intercourse you should be aware you may become pregnant.
