Should you keep taking birth control while you are away from bf for 2months?

If you're on the birth control pill, absolutely you should continue it even if you don't anticipate having sex for several months. It keeps you in the habit so you won't forget when the time comes again that you need them. It also keeps your body in a stable hormonal pattern, which may be useful for many reasons besides birth control.

Besides, once you decide you're ready for sex again you don't want to have to wait an entire period cycle to reboot your pill's effectiveness. You want to be covered from the moment that you first want to have sex. So it pays to be prepared and already on the pill.

Finally, if (God forbid) you should be unlucky enough to be raped (God forbid), it would be one less problem to worry about if you knew at least it wouldn't mean you'd get pregnant. It makes sense to be covered. Not that you expect the worst, only that you don't want to take any risk you could so easily avoid.

Is it ok for your husband to never take you anywhere and he is never home before 10 pm almost 7 days a week is he cheating?

You must be pretty, and get alot of attention when you go out. An outgoing person I would persume, and he does not like sharing the center of attention with you, although you don't try and get it, you just get it no matter what cause that is who you are. Some men are just really insecure and I am assuming you thretten him in some way. As to why he doesn't come home not sure but I have always found if you have to ask is he cheating you already know the answer.

Can you get pregnant if you been off birth control but you took the birth control 24 hours before having unprotected sex?

yes. you can get pregnant. to be really safe, you need to be on birth control for at least 1 month for it to be totally working... but if you want to prevent pregnancy, you can take something called "Emergency Contraception" also called "Plan B" Plan B is available over the counter to men/women aged 18 and over at any pharmacy. Call the pharmacy first to see if they have it. you can take Plan B as long as 5 days after unprtoected sex or condom breakage or rape, But the sooner you take it, the better. Like if the condom breaks at 3am, then take the medicine at 3:10am. don't wait until morning, because once the egg/sperm hook up, it's too late and the medicine doesn't work. It does NOT cause an abortion. It does not cause the fetus to look weird. It just doesn't work. so you need to take the medicine as soon as possible.

Is clear clot like discharge normal when pregnant It looks like a blood clot but absolutely clear?

Any questions about discharge or anything that has to do with your pegnancy that causes concern go to your doctor and ask them to see if everything is ok. It's a lot better to ask the question and find out nothing is wrong, then to not ask the question have something wrong and then later find out that it could have possibly been fixed or prevented. I hope this helps and everything is ok. Good Luck and God Bless!!!

Can birth control end a pregnancy?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Answer

I don't think so. Birth control pills just prevent an egg form coming out, ready to be fertilized. Pregnancy naturally does this because you can't get pregnant again while you're still pregnant. you'd just be wasting birth control pills trying to do that. If you want an abortion, do some research by doing a Google search on it. Try to visit some sites besides Planned Parenthood's. They will definitiely endorce their way, so maybe you should learn a bit about your other choices. You can raise the baby or give it up for adoption. Lots of families would like to adopt, so they would love to have your baby if can't keep him or her.

Alternative AnswerIt all depends what kind of birth control you use. Methods such as an IUD/coil, condoms, contraceptive injections and the contraceptive implant are all 96-99% reliable. Birth control pills are around 90% reliable, but it all depends if you remember to take one every day, so are prone to human error. The sponge/diaphragm are around 75% reliable, but you have to go and have it checked and re-fitted if you lose or gain half a stone (7 pounds). The rhythm method is probably the most unreliable of all.

Remember, no method of contraception is 100% reliable, however, so if you use condoms, perhaps think about 'doubling up' and maybe taking the birth control pill as well.

Oh, and if you do happen to fall pregnant, please do not follow the advice above. It is your body and your choice whether you keep the baby, have an abortion or have it adopted.
