I am sorry you hurt so much and I hope the way she has treated you doesn't change your views on other young woman. She became complacant with you because you did treat her so well and I know that statement sounds strange. Some young women seem to be attracted to guys that treat them with an air of arrogance, cheating, etc. Some young women like a mystery surrounding a guy and the silly thing of it all is, these young woman feel deep inside that they can "tame him". This sort of behavior has been going on for decades. Don't give up though, because there are some wonderful young women out there that would love to be dating a guy like you. You just haven't found the right girl. She has made her choice and found another boyfriend. As much as it is breaking your heart it's time for you to move on and start dating again. Don't EVER sit around and let someone rule your life because they broke your heart. Hearts DO mend, and yours will too in time. I loved someone once that I ended up marrying. I couldn't believe they had changed so much and he used me, mentally/physically abused me. I realized in that 3 1/2 years of hell, that HE really hadn't changed, but I had! Where had the young, independent woman gone? I had been so caught up in love for the sake of it, I simply lose myself and didn't allow myself to see the danger signs. Was I wrong? I don't think so. I think life is all about learning, making mistakes and learning from those mistakes. If we don't feel pain, we can't feel joy, and if we don't have our hearts ache on occasion then we truly don't know if we are honestly loved or not. You're young and you aren't any different than thousands of other guys out there that have their hearts broken. You sound like a smart and very nice young guy and I do believe that you're not a quitter, but a fighter. Fight! Get on with your life and you don't need her. Feel free! If they have divorced and want to change their name back to their own surname then it is up to the person doing it to enlighten you with information about the divorce and if she does not then you should just let the subject drop until she decides to talk about it.

sometimes it could mean he is busy or he is tired, not that he doesnt love you. maybe you might have upset him and he needs time to think. maybe it had taken him 3 days to call you, but how long would it have taken you to call him? you cant always depend on one person to make the first move in the relationship. what if he thinks exactly the same thing about why you didnt get intouch with him within those 3 days? if he didnt like you or didnt love you then he wouldn't still want to be in a relationship with you. just swap it round and put it from there point of view maybe he was worried tha you hadnt called him and he thought he upset you and then plucked up the courage to call? don't be paranoid, you just need to talk to him. communicate with him, put your mind at rest. only he knows.

When someone loves you they 'want' to be with you! This guy doesn't want to commit and perhaps he's such a nice guy he's letting you down easy. His head is full of nonsense because the only way you can build on love (as well as being best friends) is by staying together and going through the good and rough times. That's how strong relationships are built upon and stay healthy.

It would be to your best interest to simply say, 'OK' and start going out with friends to get out socially and start dating again. He will either realize how much he does love or if he doesn't you will probably find a great guy that you are meant to be with.

If your talking child support of any kind, then that is a no no. You are not supposed to use that money for anything other then the child. If your talking alimony, then you should be splitting the bill 50/50 for balance from the past and not accrue any new monies. Close the account as so far as not being able to charge on it, and get your own account.
