You have to pull the door panel off!. Then on the inside of the door panel you will see the 4 screw holding the arm rest on.

The drain is located on the passenger side lower end of the radiator, you can get better access by removing the passenger fog lamp and the horn. you will see it clearly on the bottom corner of the radiator.

There should be a drain on the bottom of the radiator somewhere. If you cannot find one, then remove the lower radiator hose and drain the coolant form that location.

It's between the engine and the fire wall. it's pre catalitic converter. There is very little room. It's best to see and work on from drivers side fender. Make sure the exahust is warm to help with removing the 02 sensor.

I believe 96- 04 have the same engine placement. Deville and Seville.

My Seville SLS is a 01 and has three o2 sensors. 2 pre cat and after.

to remove the one after the cat you have to drill out the rivets on the cover plate and then when you replace the cover you will have to use self taping screws!

Depending on the rear seat design you could possibly remove the seat to gain access to the trunk, good luck!

All newer cars should have a remote trunk switch in the cabin, if it is not obvious look in the glove box. In the absence of a switch, and not wanting to cause damage to the car you can lift the back of the rear seat out and climb through to the latch. on the latch there should be an emergency release tab put there in the event someone gets locked in.

5w30 motor oil. For high miles car 10w30 is fine. Always use name brand oils, like castrol or penzoil. Never use cheap generic oils in Caddys NORTHSTAR engine.

Located in the trunk, under a Tin lid with 5 screws. Disconnect battery cable. pull back fabric covering in right rear of trunk. There will be a lid. remove screws. Lid may need to be carefully pried off. Unplug both wires from pump. With screwdriver and rubber mallet you will need to remove large locking washer around the pump. Can be stubborn so you need to give it a good solid hit. Disconnect both return and sending fuel lines (two small plastic tabs hold these on and you can usually squeeze them with fingers and pull them off). Carefully and gently pull out pump. Fuel pump float will catch as its coming out, so be sure to hold it to remove it easily.

Changing a turn signal bulb on a 2006 Cadillac SRX:

This is not a real hard job. The easiest way is to pull the front wheel of the side the bulb is out, more working room. Pop the 4-5 plastic holders on the inside wheel well skirt. Pull back the skirt and tie it to anything to hold it out of your way. You will see a box housing the turn signal light and fog light. There are 6 Torx screws on the back as you are looking at it. Take these out and the back of the housing will come off. A couple are hard to get to. You will see the back of the turn signal bulb, turn it and the socket and bulb will come out. Pull the bad bulb out, take the new bulb, put some silicone lube on the bulb connectors and the socket and pop the new bulb in. Check to see it works and then reassemble everything as it was. I have found that the socket sometimes needs to be replaced but if you check for cracks, clean it up & lube it you may be OK.

** Some say to pull the headlight & other stuff but this is the easier way, in my option.

You will need to go to your local library and get a repair manual for this car and if they don't have one then you need to buy one since you will be needing it.........

They will not be identical but they might fit. The DeVille had minor changes to the interior and exterior in 97. 94 through 96 will work for sure, and 97 through 01 fit each other, then 02 through about 06 are the same but completely different from 01 and earlier.

Make sure the offset is similar to the stock wheels, and with low profile tires and about an 8 or 9 inch width they will fit. Maybe some 235/35/22 tires.

You might also notice that the passenger side air is slightly warmer than the drivers side. Try to flush the heater core, it might be clogged.

Most rear seats attach in the one of two ways. See if this works for your Caddy:

The front attachment point for the seat bottom is often a hook type. Try pushing the bottom of the seat towards the rear of the car, applying the pressure as close to the floor as possible (this can take considerable force) and see if it releases from the front latch/hooks. Then you can lift it up and out of the car. Some cars have seat bottoms that are simply retained by vertical latch or capture mechanisms which stick into recesses (often lined with nylon to prevent rattles) in the floor pan. Removing those requires only vertical lifting at the front of the seat. Again, it may take quite a bit of force. The seat back will be anchored by bolts at the bottom, and the top will again likely be retained by hooks. After you remove the bottom anchor bolts, you should be able to lift the seat vertically and unhook the top.

Your problem is that your BCM (body control module) is bad. A used one can be purchased for about $70. To install the BCM, take out ONLY your glovebox. Located right behind the glove box is the BCM, its as easy as unmounting it and unplugging the chord and plugging it into the new one and remounting it. 10-15 fix max.

If in fact the only thing that needs to be replaced is the pulley, you will have find a method of holding the pulley so that it cannot turn and remove the four small bolts that holds it on to the water pump pulley shaft. If the pulley appears to be bent or not straight, chances are the water pump shaft bushing is worn. If this is the case, the entire water pump must be replaced. If you are getting coolant seepage it is most likely the bushing.

To disarm the factor alarm on a Cadillac Sedan Deville, place the key in the ignition and turn it slightly without starting the car. Leave it in that position for 10 minutes and turn the car on.

can the 26 inch rims fit my 66deville Cadillac

just a guess because im not positive but may be in center of firewall. that's where they are on 95 and newer. you can do it yourself but its hard to get at.

They might be locked.
