Yes.The engine was the same 4600 V8 NorthStar which had 2 versions with different horsepower depending on the model trim.

Either the battery has a dead cell and needs replacing or something is pulling power from the battery when the engine is off.

I had a problem with my 1986 Cadillac DeVille where the power antenna was stuck and the motor would run all night trying to lower the antenna. To resolve the problem I just removed the fuse for the power antenna motor.

Prob same reason my 03 sls does, bad crankshaft positioning sensor, but only one problem, there are 2 of them so you have to replace both, i thought i had bad gas ,becuase check engine light wasnt staying on, but that wasnt the case. Good luck.

You might have 2 problems.

1) The radios are VIN specific and so to get it unlocked you have to go to the dealer and have them program your VIN in the replacement radio, could be $10 to $75 depending on your dealer.

2) If you are trying to put a CD/Cass. in where there was just a plain cassette, it won't work anyway, the cassette player is internally amped, the CD/Cass. has an external amp, so if that is your situation, don't waste your money getting it unlocked.

Assuming its a Northstar engine--under the intake manifold --cant be seen until disassembly The starter on my 1994 ElDorado is located underneath the intake manifold.

First answer is correct for the 1976-1977 Seville.

By the Time the 78-79 cars rolled out of the factory the bolt spacing had been changed to 5x5 or 5 bolts at 5" apart on center and the cars has adopted rear disc brakes, general rule of thumb with 1st gen Sevilles is if you have rear disc brakes it is 5x5, if it has rear drum brakes it is 5x4.75. The early 5x4.75 bolt pattern was a coincidence of the car being made from Chevy Nova underpinnings.

There are 3 bolts that hold the headlight casing on. Two on top and one at the bottom, down near the bumper. Once those are removed, you need to GENTLY pry the headlamp from behind near the fender. There are two covers for turn signals and headlamps. The INSIDE cover is for the headlights. The top one is for normal lights and the bottom for high beams. After cover is off, gently twist the bulb and pull out.

Just changed one out on a 2001 Seville. Normal indication is noise from the fan in the blower. Located behind the glove box, under the dash; remove the knee panel and glovebox insert. Replacement motor cost about 150.00. Make sure you get the delco OEM (autozone), a little spendy, but cheaper one doesn't fit! Trail and error. Down load removal instructions from the internet.

In the 2003 Seville STS, the battery is located under the back passenger's seat. To access it, your best option is to enter the car from the right rear passenger's door and lift the seat cushion by pushing in towards the the trunk and then upwards.The rest should be obvious as youwill have complete and unobstructed access to the battery and mounting bracket.

either one or both of the following causes that. 1. the instrument cluster is bad. 2. the body control module is bad. both are junkyard parts but the trick is finding good ones.
