Can the lower court refuse to send inmate photographs used at trial as evidence against them?
Evidence presented in court is not retained by the court. After the trial is concluded it is returned to the agency (agencies) that supplied it. If you need access to any of it you will have subpoena the agency to release them. If the case is still on-going (in trial, under appeal, etc), evidence in an ongoing case is never released. Your defense attorney had access to the same material, have you checked with them?

It depends on the shutter speed, if its a "point and shoot" camera the speed is determined by the auto settings of the camera. For a DSLR cameras you can control it manually, average DSLR cameras can shoot up to 1/8000th of a second.

What aperture would a camera lens with a maximum aperture of f2 would perform best at?
It depends on what you're taking a picture of.
A wide aperture (F2) lets in more light and so is better in low light conditions, or when you have to use a fast shutter speed (eg. taking an 'action' shot).
A narrow aperture (F11) gives you a greater field depth, ie objects near to you and far away will be in sharper focus. This is useful when you're taking photos of landscape/scenery.

Do you use firewire or USB to plug a video camera into a computer?
It depends on the camera. Digital cameras will have either a Firewire or a USB connector and some have both. If the camera has both, it is likely that either can be used to transfer video to a computer although some older cameras used Firewire for video transfer and USB for still image transfer. It is always worth checking the camera's manual to find out the functions of the data ports.
not exactly an answer, but I have the same problem. It appearred after removing the USB device. Removing the battery for a long time does not help. I removed the memory card also. I put them back and then reattached the camera to the computer. All to no effect. The camera does not boot up, but is remaining in a frozen state similar to when the USB is plugged in for photo transfer....EXCEPT...the camera lens remains extended.
It seems like it is frozen. Is there a reset button? Is there a PRAM battery I can remove?

I has this issue with a Casio camera & found a work-around. My camera lens moved slightly, but wouldn't go far ( about 3-5mm). First try setting the camera on a firm surface, but touching a soft cloth. Press the power switch & hold it. Do this a couple of times & see if you feel the resistance of the camera trying to open.
If that doesn't work, try this : Hold the power switch down, If the lens doesn't move at all, release & press again. Very gently, using a fingernail, press slightly against the edge of one of the collapsing rings. What usually happens with mine is that the lens will extend fully, then retract & the camera shuts off. I have trouble periodically with this event, but I've learned to play, til I can see movement, then press power again (no movement) then press power while exerting very gentle pressure. So far, it always worked. The camera was stolen last week & I hope the thief doesn't see this post!
What are the requirements for a college education for photography?
A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 120 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study. This would be based on a college or university that operates on a regular two semester academic year which is the most common. For institutions that operate on a tri-semester or quarter-semester it would be quite different. That being said, the Bachelor's degree - in most cases - is designed as a four year program of study, provided the student is full-time and follows their chosen program of study as prescribed by the college or university, and also provided the individual does not require prerequisite or developmental coursework as a result of basic skills testing. The minimum credit load for a full-time student is no less than 12 credits per semester. However, to complete the degree within the four years, a credit load of approximately 15 to 18 credits is recommended. For individuals who work or who have other responsibilities that would prohibit them from attending full-time, completion of the degree may take twice as long. Still, some of this time can be cut down by attending summer sessions and/or interim sessions. In addition, the bachelors and associate degrees are referred to as undergraduate degrees while the masters and doctorate degrees referred to as graduate degrees.

Do you need a license to install security cameras?
Yes and no. There are a few factors. If you are installing in your own home for your own personal use, then no. If you are a professional installer, then that varies from state to state. For example, in Virginia, professional installers must have their company licensed by Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (or DCJS for short) and each person in the company that plays a roll in the sale and installation of a system must be registered with VA DCJS. North Carolina also has similar regulations.
What is toner for in photography?
It is used to replace some of the developed silver in a black and white photograph with an inert dye. This increased the archival quality of the print and could also be employed to increase the D-Max (maximum density) of the print. When used for those purposes, the toner chosen was usually Selenium on cool tone papers, as warm tone papers could produce brown to blue-black to purple tones, depending on the paper tone.
To achieve a brown tone somewhat like an old Daguerreotype, Sepia toner would be used. In the former case, print exposure often had to be curtailed slightly to prevent the toned print from becoming too dark, whereas brown toning usually required slightly more exposure in the initial print.
