If your really want to pursue the weight thing, I would suggest talking to your parents or a friend's parent, maybe even your gym teacher about your concerns, let them know that they are real concerns and you would like some help researching. Sure 20 minutes in the morning four days a week is better than sitting on a couch watching Dr. Phil (unless he has an interesting topic on). Do not just do the elliptical and think you are set. By all means get some friends together and run at night or go to the local YMCA and swim or take an aerobics class at the nearest gym. All I am saying is treat exercise like food, mix it up you will find that you work different muscles some you didn't even know you had. For the last piece of advice I would take most of the weekends off from exercising and just enjoy them by looking great with the new bod.
