How do you do an engine swap from a 2.8L v-6 to a 350 TPI in an 1989 camaro rs?

The easiest way to do a proper engine sway from v6 to v8 is to have a donor car that has all the required swap parts from engine and transmission to all of the correct wiring, plug and play. But you cannot just stick a v8 in replace of a v6 without replacing it with a proper transmission that would fit. so find a donor, it s alot cheaper and youll have every part

How do you flush the coolant system in a 1969 Chevy Corvette?

Answer Obtain a prestone flush kit and a container of fast acting flush plus 2 gallons of antifreeze. You will be splicing the tee fitting in your return heater hose ( the cooler of the two hoses), draining the existing coolant, filling with straight water and flush to the radiator, running the engine for ten minutes with the heater on full then hooking up your garden hose to the adapter that comes with the kit. After you have run it the clean water thru it, the radiator and engine will be nice and clean; then drain the pure water and add 50/50 antifreeze and water mix and your done. I hope this helps you. Mark

Following the above procedure, I would recommend adding the first gallon of straight antifreeze in without mixing with water because you will not have drained the engine block by simply draining the radiator. So you still have at least one gallon of clear water in the block to mix with one gallon of straight antifreeze. Add the rest with a 50/50 mix for protection down to -34 degrees F.

Will 3rd and 4th generation Camaro seats fit a 1968 Camaro?

With seat mount modifcation. The seats probably won't line up with the factory seat rails of a 1968 but you can fabricate custom seat mounts out of sheet metal and a welder.

How much are 2009 camaros worth?

Try to find a NADA book or look at what others are selling for in your area, as it may be worth more in your area than it would be in mine.

It also depends on what options the car came with and what kind of care has been taking with the car.

Is a camaro rs a v6 or v8?

Depends on model year. On 1st Gen vehicles (1967 - 1969), it was just a trim package, so it could be had with either a six or eight cylinder, since it could be added on with the Z28 or Super Sport packages, as well as the base model. But the six cylinder engines for those years were inline 6 engines - not V engines.
From 1970 onwards, they RS package came with a V8 engine.

Would a 350 v8 fit in a 1996 Camaro rs?

Yes, but it would be a PITA to do. If you have a six cylinder, and plan on going to an 8, it would just be cheaper to buy a Camaro that already had a V8 in it.

How much trouble is it to change a v6 camoro engine into v8?

changing the v6 models to a v8 will require new engine, transmission, all linkages to be redone, rear end out of a v8 car, a one piece drive shaft (if you have the 2 piece design, i'd toss it. they're not know for handling alot of power, and i doubt you're talking about putting in a stock 305), new motor and transmission mounts, and other things depend on if you're doing it fuel injected or a good old fashion carb. check out some forums and hear what other people have done to get there camaros for v6 to v8. its not a simple swap, and it may be cheaper to get a v8 camaro then to do a swap. but if you have the time and money, its always rewarding to build a beast from scratch.
