Why does your horn not work on your cavalier?
The first place to check is to see if the clip is attached to the horn itself. Sometimes they work themselves loose or accidently get knocked when a mechanic is working near it. Secondly, check the fuse in your fuse box. Lastly, depending upond the year of your vehicle, it may also have a relay in the electrical line, so trace the wire back away from the horn and see if there is a relay. This junction can also work itself loose over time, but if it is snug, remove it, take it to Napa, or your favorite parts store for another. If that is not it, then you may need to replace the horn, but if you are going to do that, go to a junk yard, and pick up a GM horn (easy to bolt back in) for a tenth of the price you would have to pay at your dealership. Good luck.
