it would work on a 65 el camino but I don't know on a regular chevelle, if the wheel base is the same it will work.
Center of the front bumper, right above the license plate.
You need a dial indicator and a degree wheel to measure both the lift and duration. Now you CAN check it to see if you can find any numbers, if so, you might be able to look up the part number you find and see what you have that way.
Depends.... If it had a straight 6 or a 2 barrel 283, no. If it had a 327, most likely, especially if it has the L-79 (350 HP 327) in it. The first truly fast Chevelle was the 1965 Z16.... It was the first time the 396 was installed in the Chevelle.
If you have drum brakes make sure they are adjusted properly. Adjust so they are just locked and then back off adjuster 5 notches.
If you have disc brakes, make sure that caliper slides are not frozen
The 500 dollar bill was last printed in 1945 and officially discontinued on July 14, 1969.
May not be readily available but shouldn't be too hard to find if you do some research. Any quarter from a 1970-72 Chevelle will work.
What is the biggest big block these days? A 572 maybe? They have huge engine compartments, so you can fit pretty much ANY big block in there.
The wire specs for a 69 chevelle are Mag-Styled Wheel Covers and Simulated Wire Wheel Covers.
take hoses off it on the firewall and then unbolt all the bolts from the outside of the heater housing on the firewall and the inside heater case will now come down up under the dash, when you get it down you will see the heater core inside the case, pull it out and install new one and then reverse the disassembly process to put it back together.
Yes. Yenko was not the only one that made those cars, by the way. Baldwin Motion, and Nicky, were two more less popular than Don Yenko. The factory even made faster versions not available to the public, called COPO's. Central Office Production Order. You had to know someone to get one of these. Camaro's are the only COPO's that I know of, however, they may have made Chevelles. In 70, they offered a LS6, and LS7, version, with an aluminum 454. That car ran right in the 10's, off the showroom floor. I knew a guy that had one.
Don't know for sure but you can order a brand new one from yearone.com or any other chevelle parts places online.
No they can not as the fenders and doors are shaped different.
Loose belt, bad wire connections, or bad alternator. Your local parts store should be able to test the alternator for you.
