All of the late Chevy small blocks have a firing order of 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. The rotor in the distributor as you look down upon it turns clockwise.

I believe there are 2 adjustments 1 up in the center console by the handle and 1 under the car where the cables split off to each wheel.If you've got drum brakes in the back I'd start by adjusting them though. That's usually how I know it's getting time to do it is by how high the e-brake handle comes up.

The switch comes as a cluster. If you REALLY KNOW what you are doing, this cluster can be taken apart and cleaned with non-conductive cleaner. I took this way out when I learned that the cluster cost was over $150 where the switch is on the arm rest there should be two torque screws holding the panel that the switch is in. Remove the two screws, take out the panel with the switch then gently spread the plastic clips from the panel away from the switch. Carefull not to break the plastic tabs. then disconnect the wiring harness from the switch and install the new switch. follow backwards to reinstall.

their should be one screw holding a plastic molding on the side door.

unscrew that and their should be three more screws holding the mirror onto the door.

after those three go, the mirror should just come right off after unclipping the cables hooked on to it

You can find these harnesses by going to crutchfield.com ..if you don't buy the harness there you can at least get the name of the harness and start searching the web....good luck.

You have to replace the instrument cluster in most cases.

Replace the pump before the serpentine belt and rack and pinion are damaged.

The oil pump is the the sump.

they make a tool for it that you should be able to buy at any parts store, i was able to use a pair of needle-nose pliers, open the pliers and put the tips into the notches on the inside of the caliper piston, turning clockwise will compress the piston.

You smell antifreeze because you are overheating. Check your water level in your cooling system to make sure it is full. You may need to replace your thermostat or rdiator cap to fix the over heating problem.You may also have to check your radiator fan to make sure it is working properly.

I'd make sure the bracket connecting the transmission and shifter isn't loose first. My 2000 is notorious for this.

P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire

Symptoms.
Engine may stumble or miss
Engine may be hard to start
you may notice no issues

Cause
Failing spark plugs or spark plug wires
Bad coil or coil pack
Failing oxygen sensor(s)
Bad fuel injector or more than one
Stuck exhaust valve
Bad catalytic converter
EGR valve or valve passage clogging
Bad camshaft position sensor
Bad PCM or ECM

The Fix
Best first action is a tune up, new plugs, wires, inspect all hoses and wire connections then reset the code. If it returns you will need to narrow it down to a system, coils and coil packs should be tested, catalytic converters for function ( do you smell rotten eggs?). A misfire that jumps cylinders could indicate a lean condition, do you have any other codes along with the 300? this will help clue you in to the source, check valve function to make sure they are opening and closing fully.
This is probably pone of the most difficult codes to troubleshoot, so start with the basics and work your way into the more expensive options, in many cases a good old tune up solves the problem, back it up with a fuel system cleaning and see where you stand.
