It does not have a reset switch. Ford is the only one that used it.
You need to check the fuel pump relay or fuel pump fuse.
May just have a bad fuel pump.
The fuse for the washer pump is the same as the wipers. The fuse is in the main power distribution box.

If it's an 8-lug rim then you take off ur wheel. then you take off the caliper by unscrewing the two bolts using a hexagon pattern. then pound out all of you 8 lug bolts, then you undo the center axel bolt. then you undo the four bolts from your hub located on the back side of rotor (15mm socket). then you take off the rotor and undo the anti lock brake sensor with a small hex key. then you work backwards to put it back together. :) i actually did mine today. cost me 73 dollars for both brand new rotors from schucks... napa tried to rip me off and sell me 73 dollars a piece. i bought the cheapest brakes from napa for 25 dollars. if you have any more questions, email me... vasyak@gmail.com.. It would be best to discuss this with Pertronix.
Bank 1 sensor 1 is upstream bank 1 sensor 2 is downstream
No distance! You can seize up the engine and require a total engine replacement. Don't even run the engine, but get a qualified individual to look at it. You may simply need to add oil to the engine.
One that I've seen used several times is a late model S10 chassis. Haven't done it myself but it sure looks like a near perfect setup.
how to turn the idle down.
See if it's carburetor or efi. There is a speed adjustment for either using the idle speed screw (carb) or air bypass adjustment screw. If either has no effect, see below-
1. Remove the upper corner interior trim panelby pulling it straight off until the clips release from the door. 2. On power mirrors, unplug the electrical connector. 3. Remove the nuts and detach the mirror from the door. 4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
The OBD2 system will not BLINK codes for you. It requires a engine scanner to read the codes. HAVE ENGINE SCANED. Some parts stores will do that for free.
You will have an idea that you need a new oil pump if it no longer puts out adequate pressure to lubricate the engine bearings. Use an actual oil pressure gauge to check the oil pressure, the dash light is not a reliable gauge. Also make sure the oil filter is not choked with dirty oil and restricting pressure.
The final determination if you need a new pump is to check the clearances in the pump itself. To check the clearances look in a manual such as a factory service manual, a Chilton manual or a Haynes manual. They should have helpful illustrations as well as the clearance specifications.
You could also check the pressure relief valve, it might be plugged up with sludge
you can either drop the fuel tank from underneath as pump is inside tank and accessible from the top,or you can do it the way i chose to- unbolt the truck bed(easier that you think,8 bolts), get some buddies to help lift it off,and go at it from the top of the tank.
On the firewall, under the hood.It is next to the left of the master cylinder.
if you replacing them you a cutting torch and bubn then out or get the spring hot enough to let the bushing be hammered out
Check around the engine block itself. It should be in the front, next to the timing (or cover), on both sides.
Be sure to check the rear & sides of the block for more, because if you change one, you have to change them all.
