I don't know the full range of their business, but I do know Albert Pick & Co manufactured better-grade dishware etc. for the hotel and restaurant trade, everything from cups and saucers to serving dishes and glasses. I also know they were doing business by the early 20th century. A good reference book on collectible hotel dishes might give you dates, as they produced things for establishments all over the place.

Besides dishes, they also provided linens to hotels in the Chicago Loop. My grandmother was a seamstress there. I still have a set of linens she made.

820 miles taking this route:

1. Leave Chicago to INDIANA, and follow your way to I-80/I-90 TOLL ROAD - EAST to OHIO.
2. Take I-80/I-90 EAST (INDIANA TOLL ROAD), from Chicagoland, to OHIO, where the interstate continues as the OHIO TURNPIKE (toll road).
3. Take the OHIO TURNPIKE (toll road) - EAST (I-80/I-90 ; I-80 ; I-76) to PENNSYLVANIA, where I-76 continues EAST as the PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE (toll road).
4. Take the PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE (toll road) - EAST to the continuation of I-76 EAST towards PHILADELPHIA off EXIT 326 (the VALLEY FORGE interchange).
5. Continue on I-76 EAST, thru Philadelphia, and across the WALT WHITMAN BRIDGE (toll) into NEW JERSEY, where you will continue on I-76 EAST to ROUTE 42 - SOUTH to ATLANTIC CITY.
6. ROUTE 42 eventually becomes the ATLANTIC CITY EXPRESSWAY (toll). Continue on the ATLANTIC CITY EXPRESSWAY (toll) - EAST to Atlantic City.

From Chicago to LAREDO, TX it is 1,415 miles taking this route:

1. Take I-57 SOUTH (towards MEMPHIS), from Chicago, to I-55 SOUTH to MEMPHIS at EXIT 1A, in MISSOURI.
2. Take I-55 SOUTH to I-40 WEST to LITTLE ROCK at EXIT 8, in WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
3. Take I-40 WEST to I-30 WEST to TEXARKANA, via I-440 WESTto bypass LITTLE ROCK, AR (EXIT 159 off I-40 to get onto I-440 WEST towards TEXARKANA).
4. Take I-30 WEST to I-35E SOUTH to WACO, via I-635 SOUTH(EXIT 56C off I-30 in TEXAS) and I-20 WEST towards FT. WORTH to bypass DALLAS, TX (EXIT 467B off I-20 to get onto I-35E SOUTH to WACO).
5. Take I-35 SOUTH to LAREDO, where you will CROSS THE BORDER into NUEVO LAREDO, MEXICO. To bypass AUSTIN, take SH-130 TOLL - SOUTH (EXIT 265 off I-35 to get onto SH-130 TOLL - SOUTH to SAN ANTONIO) to I-10 WEST towards SAN ANTONIO, and then I-10 WEST back to I-35 SOUTH to LAREDO, via I-410 SOUTH to bypass SAN ANTONIO (EXIT 581 off I-10 to get onto I-410 SOUTH ; EXIT 53 off I-410 to get onto I-35 SOUTH to LAREDO).

NOTE: the SH-130 TOLL ROAD in Texas is the brand new toll road that is 85 mph.

From Nuevo Laredo to Puerto Vallarta, it is 1,475 km (916 miles) taking this route:

1. From Nuevo Laredo, take MX-85 and MX-85D (cuota[toll]) towards MONTERREY to MX-40D (cuota) SALTILLO, outside of Monterrey.
2. Take MX-40D (and MX-40) to MX-15D ROSARIO.
3. Take MX-15D (and MX-15) to MX-200 PUERTO VALLARTA at Tepic.
4. Take MX-200 to Puerto Vallarta.

In total, it is 2,331 miles taking the route above.
