Interference.

My 1995 Chyrsler Cirrus had this random red wire sticking out by the fuses under the steering wheel. What I had to do was take a 9-volt battery and touch the red wire to the positive terminal of the battery while touching the negative terminal to any piece of metal on the car. This acted as a shut-off switch and it worked like a charm! The headlights stopped flashing (i had long-since pulled the horn fuse), I put the key in the ignition, and she started right up!

When you open your hood, on the right end of the engine, you will see the throttle body, underneath it there is a sensor the connects into it, it has a blue rubber gasket, so now follow that cable down and and you will see that it takes down all the way to the bottom of the engine by where the serial number is. that is it. the way I replaced it, I took the engine oil tube, where the dip stick slides down, then i took that metal tube that runs un and down from the manifold down, and i took the right tire out to reach the bolt from the side is easier.

It does not have a cabin filter.

To change the oil pan gasket on a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus, disconnect the negative cable from the remote battery jumper. Then remove the oil drain plug to drain the oil pan. Next, remove the drive belt and exhaust cross-pipe. Remove the dipstick tube and the starter motor before pulling off the oil pan gasket.

You have to go to a dealership. They electronically program it with a machine.

In my 2000 4cly 2.4l is was the easiest thing in the world. There are in a line across the front. 1-2-3-4 Left to Right. You will need a deep socket with the rubber thing inside so the sparkplug doesn't fall out of the socket after you have loosened them and need to lift them out of the hole. You don't not have to take any manifold off, just gently pull the rubber plug boots off the spark plugs. The order of the boots is important. Label them or just do one at a time. in my 1999 the front 3 are easy, take the boots off, and take em out. the back 3, this is fun, u have to take off the upper intake manifold just to reach them. they are under the manifold. it gets pretty easy when you mess up and have to redo it 4 times, lol.

The fuel filter on a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus is located above the gas tank. It is in the fender wall just ahead of the rear cross member that holds the two rear fenders together.

A Chrysler Cirrus does not have a mass airflow sensor.

Owner: Assuming your car is a 5 speed you need to find the speedometer cable and run it back into hole on yop of transmission. GL This is most likely the cable that runs from the speedo to the odo. As it ages, the lubricany dries up and the cable drags and sometimes starts to kink. You can replace this cable by removing the speedo cable from the head and the mount on the transmission (w/ the speed sensor)(mounted on the passenger side of the car right above the halfshaft). Remove the speed sensor and pull the cable out from the trans end. The new cable will be fed from the trans end back up to the speedo. Reattach the speed sensor and mount onto the trans. Install the cable back on the head and you should b good 2 go.

The cirrus does not use a heater valve. The cabin temperature is controlled with the an airflow controlling door inside the dash.

If lights light up but do not flash, then need to change the flasher, if no light at all chk all fuses first.

Fog lights are only accessable when headlights are on; once headlights are on, pull shaft/stalk out to turn on fog lights.

Open it , push those side clips outward with screw driver and then pull ur glove box door downward, once that is done u will see screws, unscrews and there u go its out

it uses a group 75 a gm series battery with side post in driver side front wheel well
