1992 buick park avenue drivers power seat not working where and what to look for?

AnswerCheck switch in door panel? Check motor under seat?

See if you have power to motor Check fuses

Spray penetrating oil, such as WD-40, on the shafts coming out of each of three motors under the seat, right where the shaft exits the motor, trying to get the oil into the motor. Over time, dirt accumulates in this area, creating friction and the motor stops turning and the seat doesn't move. After several tries the motor will begin to turn again and the seat will once again move.

There is a two wire connector from the wiring harness to the control box under the seat. Check the orange and black wires at both sides of the connector to make sure they aren't broken. You can also check for power coming from the harness side.

How do you change the turn signal bulb on a 1993 Chrysler Concorde?

Open the engine hood so you can see the turn signal/parking light assembly and using a flat blade screwdriver and push the retaining blade, between the headlight lens and the parking light lens, sideways, to allow the turn signal/parking light housing to slide forward. It may take some coaxing, as dirt has probably built up on the two guide slides. There is also a rubber grommet that is holding a centering pin in the back. Keep working the housing back and forth, it will come out. Once the housing is out far enough, twist the bulb socket 90 degrees and pull out socket and bulb.

Don't let shops tell you they have to take out the entire headlight assembly, as they did me. I replaced the bulb at home in ten minutes.

How easy is it to replace a Chrysler Concorde radiator fan motor?

It's not a five-minute job. I just had to replace one on my 1999 Concorde. You must remove the upper tie bar to access the fan/shroud/radiator assembly, remove the fan module from the radiator, replace the fan motor, then re-assemble everything. I would estimate maybe 1.5 hours for someone experienced in medium-level difficulty repair jobs. If any of this scares you or you don't know what those terms mean, then have a pro do it.

How do you get a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina starter out?

I did this today on my '95 Lumina w/3.1. Raise the car. Make sure it's secure, as the starter bolts can be rather tight and you might need to torque pretty hard. I had mine on ramps. Drain the oil and remove the oil filter, after it has drained, remove the plastic oil filter guard which is directly under the filter, three small bolts here. Loosen and remove two of the three nuts on the solenoid: the small nut which holds the ground wire and then one of the two 13mm nuts - the one that attaches the power wires. There is no need to remove the other 13mm nut for the wire that connects the starter to the solenoid. Loosen and remove the plastic cover where the starter meets the flywheel, this is only one small bolt. This part just keeps the dust and dirt out of the flywheel. There are only two bolts that hold the starter to the engine block, both are located near the flywheen end of starter. They are 15mm bolts and go from the direction of the bottom of the car up. One is located and accessible in front of the lower cross member and the other is located behind it. The one in front is a straight shot and easily reached with a long extention on the rachet. Mine was very tight and required a pipe on the rachet to break it lose. The one on the rear is a little trickier but not too tough if you have a swivel elbow for the socket. After these bolts are removed, the starter will be loose and can slide out easily through the bottom in the opening where the oil filter was. Installation is pretty easy and just the reverse of removal. Good luck.
