look on the passenger side, it is located in between the door and the dash. there should be a triangular shaped panel on the side of the dash that will pull off with a little effort and the bcm is about a 4inch by 5inch black box with numbers on it. if you are replacing it, the numbers MUST match on the replacement bcm. i just replaced one today on my sister-in-law's car. If one has theft and the other doesn't, the car will not start.

The water pump on the V6 engines are inside the front of the engine driven by the timing chain or belt. The water pump on a V8 is in the front and center of the engine.

I have a 1999 300M, and funny to say, the same thing happened. two weeks ago my A/C stopped working, and now the radiator fans are messing up. I checked the fuse box and both hi and low radiator fanfuses were burned. I am going to take the car to be checked this week. I'll ket you know how it goes.

Drain the water from the cooling system. Remove the water supply hose. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. Remove the thermostat. Reverse the process to install the new thermostat.

Depends on engine. 3.3L or 3.8L have timing chains. All other engines have timing belts.

If it is the same as the green light on my Dodge Durango rearview mirror, it dims the amount of light being reflected off of the mirror from lights behind you. You can turn the dim feature off (indicated by the green light being off) with a button on the rearview mirror.

simple job. took me maybe like 10 minutes. easy clips. one you squeeze together and it pops off, the other you have to push towards the fuel line and then pull the filter out. you'll get it if you have any common sense.

but the filter cost me about 20 bucks.

I saw on eBay a transmission for around $600. I think it was OEM.

I suggest you buy the manual for the car(Chiltons etc.) It's an ignorant job and you're better off to pay someone to do it if you've never done one.

Many cars require you to press the gas pedal when starting the car. It's quite normal.

pump it slower and pull the nozzle out of tank a little while pumping the gas.

The starter is located on the lower driver side of the engine block. Follow the red battery cable and you can't miss it.

Thermostat located inside radiator cap on overflow container , rated for either 12 or 15 P.S.I .. easily located , if hood is open while facing car it will be to your right hand side between the main fuse relay box and container for brake fluid.. D.M.

Cold air from the defrost indicates that the air doors are in the wrong position. The doors are vacuum controlled in most vehicles. check the vacuum system for a leak.

Typically, it's the thermostat relay...if you take your console apart, and remove the screws holding the heater display, it'll come right out. On the back is a black (or blue) relay. It often rattles loose and loses connectivity or corrodes. If this relay is stuck open (may need to be replaced) it'll cause the heat to blow constantly without responding to the buttons being pressed.
