I believe the brake light switch is at the base of the brake pedal. However, it takes a special tool usually to remove and replace it. It is a cheap part, easy labor, and worth the payment to a professional if they will do it for under $20.00 or so. You can strand yourself if you can't get the replacement on correctly. Mary

Two ways to get a wiring diagram for your car would be to go to an automotive store and buy a Haynes manual or go to your local library to the reference section and look it up in a Chiltons manual. Around here (Texas) the library will copy the info needed for a small fee. Probably do the same where you are. Hope this helps! Or you can try to go to www.autozone.com they have some repair info help me alot with my vacume lines and some wiring diagrams i think with the wiring diagrams its split into diffrent sections but you can blow them up and resize them for prining

It is just like a check engine light. It comes on when the computer detects a malfunction.

Use a breaker bar to loosen the tensor wich is directly below the Alternator on the 3.0 V6. While the breaker bar holds the tensor down (loose) slide on the new belt via the diagram in the compartment.

Remove the screw that is above the bolt on the receiver. This screw holds the bolt into the receiver and once it is removed the bolt will slide out.

possibly the up solonoid located in the trunk attached to the convertable top motor.

I'd buy a Haynes Manual if I where you.. you need to jack up the car and remove the passenger side front wheel and the wheel arch cover to start with undo belts and stuff.. Its a 3 hour job just remember to replace all the belts with new..

remove the grills connect two 3 1/2's (the left will fit VERY TIGHT) but it replaced cardboard and wired into pre made slots for the speakers very easy in the end.

the solenoid is ontop of the starter motor which is located at the bottom right of the engine.. 3 bolts hold it in...

Sounds like a dirty valve lifter or maybe the lifter lost prime. I suggest changing the oil using something lite like 5w30 . Also ass a can of CD2 or vave medic. They are both made for quieting noisy lifters Also chech the oil level weekly to make sure you do not run low again.

I had the same thing happen after flattening my battery. In my case the car would start for a moment and then die. This was the imobiliser kicking in. Put the key in the door, lock and unlock the car and your fourways should cancel.

Means the A/C doesnt work.....

dont try fixing it yourself you'll waste more money trying to recharge the system your self then if you brought it to a reliable shop.

..The water pump pulley runs off the timing belt[..to drive the overhead cams]. The recommended replacement interval is 60,000 miles , and considering how much effort is involved to get at these parts it's probably a good idea to replace the water pump, too. Also, check the tube that runs from the back of the pump to the back of the engine. Replace it if it is corroded or leaking. The service life of the OEM water pumps is about the same as the timing belt, so it makes sense to replace both at the same time. You may save yourself a comeback and you'll certainly save your customer a lot of money on labor by doing both jobs at once.

..This engine has two inlet coolant pipes that connect from the heater core and the rear of the engine to the water pump. The pipes are located in the valley of the cylinder block. These pipes are sealed with O-rings on the ends and become easily distorted when the engine is disassembled. If the pipes become distorted or the O-rings are not replaced air can enter the cooling system immediately after start-up.

To check for this after air is detected in a system, check for hydrocarbons in the coolant. If no hydrocarbons are present, look for these pipes to be leaking.

According to the service manuals for the 1993-1995 LeBarons with 3.0 Litres V6, the recommended timing belt replacement interval is not 60000 miles, it is 100000 miles (somewhat more than 1550000 kms. It is recommended to replace the water pump and the poulley, too. If the timing belt rips, it does not damage your engine, so do not care.

You have to calculate at least 5, up to 10 hrs to replace it yourself. I wrote a photo documented manual 2 years ago, but the text is in german, maybe you could have a look at my pictures to see, what is to do and to estimate the time you will use....

It's located near the back of the engine on the right side of the upper portion of the hood.

It is screwed into the exhaust manifold on the rear of the engine.

check the fuse box, maybe there's a problem with the connection between the switch and spray. bring it to a mechanic if you don't want to get your hands dirty :)

You will find it (the PVC valve) in the same place as you would on a 1995 Lebaron 3.0. I own a 1990 Chrysler lebaron 3.0 v6 and found the PVC valve in the same spot. Look up where to find the PVC valve on a 1995 lebaron 3.0 on this site. Best of luck.

you don't repair the serpentine belt. You buy a new one, they cost about 30 bucks
