What political parties are most like communist parties?

Once again the DingoBot does not realize that nothing here is repetitive.

Within today's world there are a number of political parties that call themselves "communist parties". For the most part these parties have as one of their goals the major means of production to be controlled by the government. How this would be accomplished and what the particular policies would be differ widely. With that being said, there are other political parties that call themselves "socialist parties". These parties also want the major means of production to be in the control of the government.

In general terms the socialists and the communist have a goal in common.. as it was presented. However, the socialist parties want no part of forced political power or authoritarian powers. The various communist parties will have a "hook". The hook is that they are not democratically inclined.

What are the disadvantages of communism in china?

Truth is, communism is a pretty good governement system theoretically. Unfortunately when practiced in reality, it fails. Instead of the people governing themselves, one man seems to overpower the rest.....resulting to a monarchy, (dictatorship).

Ex. modern China

Theoretically, advantages are equality and fairness in the system, no authority.

Disadvantages in theoretical communism is the fact that some people are not fit to govern themselves, and no authority.

Disadvantages for communism in reality....everything....just look at how ****** up China is. While the rest of the world is advancing, they are going back in time. 98% of the population is in poverty. Mau and his associates are living in riches. Pure dictatorship...Theoretical communism is against everything Mau is doing.

Why isn't communism really communism?

True communism isn't practiced by a major power anywhere in the world today. Instead, the politico-economic system currently practiced by China (and which used to be employed by the Soviet Union) is called socialism.

A very simplified explanation of the difference is that socialism is set up and controlled by a central government, whereas communism is controlled and maintained at the local (people) level. The only practical example of true communism can be found in the system known (appropriately enough) as a commune, similar to the kibbutz farming communities found in Israel.

Was the company town system fair or not fair explain?

While it appeared idyllic in most ways and provided new employees with a

better quality of life then they had previously experienced, it proved to be

a bitter trap. The employer had gained full control over the labor force, a

condition that laborers would regret when wages stagnated and housing

costs rose or when housing costs remained stable an wages were cut.

"I owe my soul to the company store" was the familiar lament. Search for

Pullman as an example.

Who is nicolai lenin?

It is a name sometimes used for Vladimiir Ilitch Ulyanov, founder of Soviet communism, etc. Zinoviev gave a speech entitled "Nicolai Lenin: HIs Life and Work" at the Pertograd Soviet on 9/6/1918; do an Internet search and you can get a PDF of it. But near as I can tell (quick skim) he is referred to as Vladimir Ilitch of Comrade Lenin throughout. Perhaps "Nicolai" is considered a translation of "Vladimir"

What was the position of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China on the topic of individualism?

The Chinese Communist Party made their version of the evils of "individualism" clear to other communist parties during the Sino-Soviet rift. In 1963, the party stated that they have always disapproved of exaggerating the role of the individual. Also, they stated that they persistently practiced democratic centralism within their party. The party asserted that the Soviet Union was defaming the proletarian party along with the dictatorship of the proletariat. They accused the USSR of exaggerating the role of certain individuals. This was deemed to be aimed at Chairman Mao. Additionally they accused the USSR of perverting the teachings of Lenin on this topic. This statement by the Chinese Communist Party seems to clearly differ with the situation in China. If ever their was a cult of personality it would be a close race between Stalin and Mao Zedong.

In 1963 Nikita Khrushchev was still the leader of the USSR. He had exposed the cult of personality that Stalin had created for himself but did not directly accuse Chairman Mao of this, although it was clear by looking at various statements made by the Soviet Communist Party, they recognized this cult of personality that Chairman Mao Zedong had created for himself.

What are Americans afraid of today?

I only know how to answer this question by examples that I've been exposed to, so please bear with the explanation. I've asked many this question, and only one thing has stayed the same in all answers, but some of them are intriguing.

Americans fear the unknown and undefined things they don't understand; but fail to recognize the ignorance. But I will come back to that. Every person I have spoken to has said they fear the Government of the United States and or the States - IE: America fears its own government as a whole. The only exception to this answer are members of government. In fact those members of government usually attempt to make you fear other parts of that government for the safety that 'they' promise.

You will find some that say they fear "Socialism" in the USA, but when pressed they cannot tell you what "Socialism" actually is, the same is true for any one of a few hundred "code words" that they have been taught to fear, but don't really know what these things mean. In these cases it is common for these persons to lash out in anger over their own ignorance, and or, to discount historical terms in favor of modernized views that are not really defining (at best).
