There are many components in a computer. In order to understand how a computer works, one must know the basic components. Open the case and look at all the gizmos. There are 4 basic parts to a computer (PC): CPU- Central Processing Unit GPU- Graphics Processing Unit PSU- Power Supply Unit Memory- Temporarily stores data from the hard disks Without these components, the computer will not function normally.
There are other devices that can be attached to the PC. CDROMs, Hard Disks, Floppy Disks, Sound Cards, TV tuner cards, mice, keyboards, NICs (network interface card), and USB cards. The devices are not needed to make the PC run.
Let's trace a packet of data from power on to it's final destination, the monitor. First, the packet is stored on the hard disk. It goes from the hard disk through the ribbon cable, which connects the hard disk to the motherboard, then to the memory. From the memory, it travels through the FSB (Front Side Bus) to the cache on the CPU. There, it waits until it is needed by the CPU. When it's needed, it goes to the GPU which in turn generates an image that goes to the monitor. Seem like a lot? Computers are not simple, ever.

Its Wi-fi capability is superb.We have around 3,500 laptops in our college of different makes. I have compared mine with all others. Mine is the best.......everyone accepts that. Rs. 60,000-70,000 Dell XPS . They are even better than studio laaptops but are quiet costly for a student. beyond 70,000 I have no idea coz i never thought of purchasing a laptop in this range.

you do not really need a "best processor for that task" for email a Pentium 3 will be fine for video streaming it become a little more interesting since if you will host the video in a streaming server, NOTE streaming video server IS NOT THE SAME as hosting video server, you will only need a fast internet connection to upload your videos to your streaming server and this is just like copying from hard drive to hard drive and highly depends of your internet speed to upload and NOT so much from your PC processor so i will go for any Pentium 4 for both tasks of emailing and uploading.

If you're looking for a desktop, something like a Dell Inspiron "Small Desktop" would be good, although I would recommend NOT getting one that contains a Celeron CPU, they are very underpowered.
For a laptop, a lot of HP and Dell laptops are good choices, used or new, and are more than good enough for your purposes.
