The AMD Sempron X2 2100 was designed to be a low-end processor, and it is over a year old (as of the time of this answer), so it obviously doesn't compare well to newer and high-end processors. Its suitability also depends on what type of applications you are planning to use it for.

Yea they're quite good but you'll also have to check on the CPU and the graphics card (maybe also the motherboard and sound card and dvdplayer but the other specifications are more important for gaming and running heavy Apps)

HP makes some of the best computers available. HP laptops are second to none in all regards; performance, keyboard feel, screen texture, brightness, resolution. HP's are also known for high reliability / high availability.

A busy office worker rushing to get out of the house still needs to eat. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because you have gone so long without nutrition while you slept.

Cereal with milk, toast and orange juice is good. A breakfast sandwich made to take on the run....eggs in toast with sliced cheese. Any kind of fruit will give you a burst of natural sugars...apple, orange etc.

Just toast and a juice box will help until you can get something more later.

I would recommend Sony and Toshiba. Both have very good quality after Apple. These are the recommended brands if you do not go for Apple. Dell is also a good choice.

Processing speed is far more important than cache size. Cache is a small amount of memory located in, or around the processor that is used to store small amounts of information that the processor can refer to as a quick reference. There are millions of bits flowing through cache memory every time the processor works. Any more, there is a standard amount of cache memory that is in every processor. Speed is a totally different thing and almost has nothing to do with cache size. Speed is definitely more important.

the mac laptops are the best because they are easy to figure out, and they come with all sorts of programs. If anything happens they will replace it or fix it pretty fast. They also offer classes at Mac stores (which are pretty much everywhere) if you want to know more about how to use them or if you want to learn about some programs that they offer. Macs are especially good for presentations because of all of the applications they offer (like powerpoint, iwork, entourage, excel, ect.) Also, Macs have something where you can switch your screen over to windows if need be (and you can switch between mac and windows whenever you want).

As for the choices of laptops that mac offers the macbook or macbook pro are the best, but if you wanted, you could get the macbook air if ur carefull with it-- cause if u drop it once it will most likely break. but if u drop a macbook or macbook pro (by accident of coarse) it doesnt break-- i mean like out of ur hands or off of ur desk or bed. :)
