Do you buy the sims computer game at a store or do you have to download it?
you can download it from some websites but Really you have to buy it
Depends on what you want to do with it. the grahics card is integrated so its not going to cope with high end gaming but that is essetially the system I'm running and I'm pretty happy with it for everything I want to do. Games a year or two old run fine.
When a laptop is written off can an external company buy up writeoffs to repair and resell?
The term write off only means that the owner removes the asset from it's books, (whether it be inventory or owned) and accepts the cost of the loss. They are adjusting the books to recognize that it has no value. Sure they can sell it to you. They still own it. it's just not worth anything according to the books. If sold they then have a partial write off and only lose the amount they had it on their books for, minus what they receive from you. (The same as selling it for a loss). While they could even give it to you (instead of the garbage man) and be in the same place, don't be suprised if they don't want to sell it to you. Some Cos' don't want anyone selling products with their name on it that aren't absolute first quality. With or without their name on it they also may not want to share the market place with you, as you may sell to the same customer that would otherwise buy their goods and now decides to purchase the cheaper product.

You want to get a lap top but i dont know what to look for?
Laptops range from £300 upwards depending on the processor
Entry level laptops are usually celeron processors, they work fine when bought new but after installing other software they tend to slow down
Duel core processors are a better buy, they are faster than celerons and tend to handle extra software better they are also better for gaming
memory is also very important basic laptops come with 512k memory but can be upgraded, you would be better buying one with 1-2 GiG of memory
harddisk size is not really important as most laptops come with 40 Gig plus and you will find the more software you put on the slower the laptop will get, a better option is to buy an external usb harddisk and store all your photographs and music etc.. on it.
the spec i would be looking for would be
duel core
2 Gig memory
80 Gig Harddisk
17" display
wireless
the price should be around £500
Good luck

Upgrading an outdated computer system would be an example of what?
increasing the value of capital goods
yes there is. they are called macs. i don't see much of a difference other then they run different operating systems. but I've been told that all of there programs are made by apple and they last longer. the pcs under 2000 work great. they can work even better if you can work them right. i have a PC with 1.86ghz Intel celeron proccessor, 80gb hdd, and 2.5gb of ram. and it runs just as good as a brand new mac. just because of my quality of programs. if your planning on getting a mac after you read this, go ahead, I'm not saying its the worst. I'm just saying you can make a PC just as good or better.
Well it depends on what you want to get it for school, work, Gaming, etc. If you want a laptop that is more for work and school I would go with a Mac. If you want a gaming laptop I would go with a dell Alienware laptop they are about $750-$1800 but they have some problems I have read about. But I would have to say go with a Toshiba laptop they have good customer service good laptops and you can customize some to the way you want it to be. I had a Satellite L655 not the best laptop it had a Pentium Intel so it was not good for gaming. I like to play games so I customized my own laptop it is very easy to do I upgraded the Intel to an i7 it is the best out their to have for school, work, Gaming, etc. I hope I helped you on what to look for.
I accidentally deleted the Lenovo easycam software off your Lenovo netbook so how do I get it back?
I did the same thing!! I dont want to risk downloading a free one in case of viruses. I found a cyberlink youcam program that you can use for free for 15 days then you have to purchase it, but if you need it in an emergency its better than nothing. Someone help!
A laptop is a scaled down desktop computer with all the capabilities of a desktop computer. A PDA is a scaled down laptop with limitations due to its size and memory compatibility. Both are portable devices where a desktop computer is not portable.
Which of hp and delll lzpto is better?
Dell now supports alienware so to make this short there is not going to be better than that. The only problem with that is though is that they cost $1700. Three months ago i bought the HP HDX 16t laptop which is one of the best laptops hp has to offer, It has handled every high resolution game i have played and I have not had any problems with it yet. So if you are a gamer who is looking for a deal I would go with HP HDX 16t which is currently selling for $900.
"Yes macs are heaps better. Pcs suck"
Well, you couldn't be more wrong to be quite honest - but in the same way you'd be wrong if you said PCs are better than macs.
The fact is they use what is essentially the same technology, and if you look inside a mac it will look just about the same as what you'd see if you look inside a PC.
Macs use RAM, HDDS (or SSDs) motherboards, PSUs and GPUs just like PCs, and just like PCs there are cheap components and there are expensive components, each with their own specific purpose - for instance you dont really need a high powered GPU unless you're playing modern computer games or running demanding 3D applications. As such, a PC can use EXACTLY the same hardware as a mac and therefore neither is better than the other.
HOWEVER, the same performance you could get from a mac costing say, £1000, could be bought for a PC costing about £400, and this difference in price only increases the further up the performance ladder you go. For example, a high performance Alienware system might set you back £1700, but a mac of the same specifications, with EXACTLY the same parts will easily cost you £2600. Just for reference, a system with those kind of specs would probably cost about £1000 if you built it yourself. Obviously, both Alienware and Apple need to make a profit, and will inevitably charge you a bit for the branding as well, but whichever way yoou slice it, Apple are always going to give you less for your money.
The bottom line is that if you buy a mac, you will be paying several hundred or even over a thousand pounds for the OS (Operating system), which let's face it doesn't make very much difference at all because most people are happy with Windows, and a bit of software that is comparable with that which can be bought seperately and installed on a PC anyway. So I guess now you can answer your own question - they're the same it's just that one costs more money...
What is definition of social context?
Social context is a collection of dynamic (political, economic and cultural) issues in a social system that identify and interpret the human behavior within a specific group in term of traditions, customs, beliefs, values and life discourses.
