A syntax error is a scenario in programming where the code that is written by a programmer which is incorrect as per the language structure. For example I say the following statement in English: it is syntactically wrong:

The data processing cycle is used anywhere data has to be input and processed in order to achieve a desired output. That output may be then used as input for additional processing, repeating the cycle. During processing, data is also stored for later use, whether to be processed along with new input or to provide input for other processes, thus creating new output.

The expanded cycle is the same, the only difference being that data has to be originated before being input, while the output has to be distributed. The originated data is known as the source document, which could be something as simple as an appointment booking form that you fill in. The data from that document is then input and processed (and stored), and the output is distributed in the form of report documents, which could be as simple as a letter telling you when your appointment is, a copy of which will be kept on file along with the source document. When you come to attend your appointment, your report document becomes the source document, which is then input and processed, and the output distributed, confirming your attendance for the appointment. During the appointment, new data is originated, thus starting the cycle all over again.

A supercomputer is a computer with a high level of performance as compared to a general-purpose computer. It seems that the integrated circuit was destined to be invented. Two separate inventors, unaware of each other's activities, invented almost identical integrated circuits or ICs at nearly the same time.

Jack Kilby, an engineer with a background in ceramic-based silk screen circuit boards and transistor-based hearing aids, started working for Texas Instruments in 1958. A year earlier, research engineer Robert Noyce had co-founded the Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation. From 1958 to 1959, both electrical engineers were working on an answer to the same dilemma: how to make more of less.

In designing a complex electronic machine like a computer it was always necessary to increase the number of components involved in order to make technical advances. The monolithic (formed from a single crystal) integrated circuit placed the previously separated transistors, resistors, capacitors and all the connecting wiring onto a single crystal (or 'chip') made of semiconductor material. Kilby used germanium and Noyce used silicon for the semiconductor material.

In 1959 both parties applied for patents. Jack Kilby and Texas Instruments received U.S. patent #3,138,743 for miniaturized electronic circuits. Robert Noyce and the Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation received U.S. patent #2,981,877 for a silicon based integrated circuit. The two companies wisely decided to cross license their technologies after several years of legal battles, creating a global market now worth about $1 trillion a year.

It can produce stereotypes or racism within societies that can in future put more distance between the classes (upper, middle, lower class).
