How do you adjust computer monitor to show game on full screen it cuts off part of left side of screen 19 monitor?

That is hard to answer without knowing more details about the actual computer. What is the resolution that your monitor is currently set at. Does the actual game support that resolution. It appears it is defianatley a resolution problem. Research the supported resolutions for the game that you are trying to play, then see if your video card has a matching resolution. If the monitor is a "wide-screen" then you may need to set the resolution to a standard montior size to play the game.

How does your computer know how much ink is in your printer cartridges?

Printers are able to communicate back to your computer nearly the exact amount of ink remaining in one or all of your cartridges. They know this because when ink starts to get low you may notice papers being lighter colored or not as thick of ink. The printer is trying to save ink by doing this. Also once a certain color runs out based on if you have a newer or older printer the printer will try to mix ink colors to create the color you requested if it had ran out.

Why monitor does not get signal from CPU?

Could be a bad cable, or a bad graphics card. However, try the simple fix, first. Detach your monitor from the power source and the computer, reattach and then restart the computer. Sometimes the connection to the computer and/or power gets loose, so the computer doesn't "see" it.

Can computer monitors make eyes sore and itchy?

About 7 years ago I had problems with my eyes that had grown so big I was unable to work in front of a computer screen more than 10 minutes at a time. My eyes would simply explode and all the white in them would become red. Then that happened my eyes would also become sore. It had become a vicious circle and at the time many eyes doctors were clueless and had failed to read up on common symptoms among IT people who work many hours each day behind a computer. Luckily I finally found an eye doctor that was of some help, and managed through experimentation to get my red eyesproblem under control.

  • Get your eyesight checked. Glasses can help reduce eyestrain "work stress" on eye muscles.
  • Try massage and relax the muscles around your eyes once in a while.
  • Get checked for obvious allergies. Whether it is pollen or something else.

Can you connect PS3 to a Samsung syncmaster 932nw monitor?

No I don't believe it will work and yet I have still researched the question to determine what might work.

The PS3 is designed to be connected to a TV or HDTV (which is still a TV) and the monitor you have could be used as a TV. To do this you would connect the monition to a set top box with a DV1 cable output from the DV1 output for the set top box to the input on the monitor it still would not have sound only TV picture (see related link) Some PC type speakers could probably be connected to the set top box audio output to provide the sound. If the set top box has an input for HDMI you might be all set to just plug the PS3 into it. However if you don't already have all the parts it would be much cheaper to just purchase an LCD HDTV whose prices continue to decrease.

Is it worth getting1080p resolution on a 15.6 laptop screen?

depends on what you want it for...

For watching movies, then no, you won't notice the difference over 720p at that size of screen.

For playing 3d games, then yes, the highest resolution that your system can support, the better. Games don't have unlimited "anti-aliasing" like tv or movies, so you will notice the jaggies more on lower resolutions. Also, higher res helps you to make out smaller distant "enemies" on the screen easier. It makes a difference.

The higher res will also give you more desktop real estate. If you find the icons or type too small, you can enlarge them.

This question gets asked a lot on the internet and the unanimous answer is NO. They cite the common TV resolutions vs. screen size, as if its the same thing, end of story. But they give little thought to the actual differences in a tv and a computer's uses and abilities.

An obvious downside on a laptop is a higher res screen will go through the battery a bit quicker, i have no idea how much faster tho.
