Why fet are used in linear ic?
fets are used in linier ic's to
1)to provide large resistences
2)increase input resistence
Ive fixed it now.
By throwing it at the wall when i was angry.
No im not joking...
this phone is really confusing so I wish you guys luck with figuring it out!
Can inserting a resistor in a circuit have an effect similar to an open circuit?
If the resistance is large enough, then there might not be enough voltage difference to allow much current. Since, Voltage = Current * Resistance, if resistance goes really large, and your voltage doesn't change, your current must decrease. An open circuit is where you do not have any current flowing, so whether no current verses very little current is the same is up to you.
What kind of energy does a stun gun have?
A stun gun has two numbers associated with it's power. The first is amps. Stun guns run about 3-4 milliamps. A full amp will kill someone and AED's run as high as 500. So a stun gun won't even mess up a pacemaker, much less cause arrhythmia or death. The second number is voltage. This is the number you see plastered across ads for stun guns. It really doesn't have much to do with the stopping power or a stun gun, but the higher voltage guns do work quicker and might possibly work better through thicker clothes.
I think so, but some can be defaulted and not work. :)
What wattage of inverter would you need to power a 100-240volt 1.7 amp laptop?
At 100 volts, around 170 watts. At 240 volts, around half as much. So, I'd suggest a nice 200 watt inverter for the 120 volt model, but that seems to be an awful lot for your purposes. Are you sure that you're not reading the power output of the power adapter, as compared to the amperage it draws on A.C.? I seem to remember using my laptop in a truck with just a 40 watt inverter and it worked just fine.
Do most electronics run on both 220V and 110 Volts?
Most electronic equipment runs on far less that both of these voltages. Most likely from 5 to 12 volts DC. To get down to these votages it has to be processed by a transformer. Good equipment will have a switch on it so that you can chose what the input voltage will be. All this switch is doing is changing the taps on the primary side of the control transformer. The secondary side of the transformer is the working voltage of the equipment 5 to 12 volts. The secondary side of the transformer is then put through a full wave bridge rectifier to change it to DC. When you charge your cell phone this is all that you are doing when you plug it into the wall, except without the switch to select the 240 volts. The rectifier is built right into the wall PAC and out comes the voltage your cell phone is looking for.
This planet is usually running 120 ac or 220 AC That is what most of the people knows as power. There is and never will be a set of voltages that will run everything. but there are some industry standards personal computer are 3v,5v,12v ,12v. these voltages are not are set but are carefully chosen for efficiency a room heater will take forever to heat a room at 5v. so the conclusion is voltages are chosen for efficiency and nothing more then that.
How long is the average 60-minute audio cassette tape?
Answer
The easy answer is 60 minutes, but you probably meant length in linear inches. Cassette tapes run at 1-7/8 (1.875) inches per second.
A C60 plays 30 minutes on each side, and requires 3,375 inches, or 281.25 feet of tape. Most manufacturers round it up to 285 feet, so the result is approximately 31 minutes per side.
Is sacd or DVD-audio dead Are manufactures still producing booth types of formats?
SACD is not dead. It is however a niche format. There are plenty of new releases - majority of which is classical music. High definition format such as SACD really only benefits quality recordings of music with high dynamic range such as classical and jazz. Likewise, there are SACD players that are still maufactured - most notably the Sony's PlayStation 3 (some models only) and also various models from Marantz and Denon as well as cheaper Oppo. DVD-A does appear to be dead to my knowledge.
VCR stands for Video Cassette recorder. The invention of VCR was initiated by the invention of Audio Cassette players. The first type of VCR was the U-matic that was developed by Sony Japan during 1970. The home VCR system that we see now were developed by Philips in 1972. Since large organizations like Philips and Sony work in research teams. It is difficult to tell one name that invented the VCR as it was a collaborative effort of the team working on it.
Can a 9V 2A replace a power adaptor of 9V 1500mA?
Yes a device will only draw the amount of current it needs if the voltage is the same it will draw the same amount of current. Since your going to a power suply with a larger max current you should be fine..just don't step up the voltage.
Yes you can still use them, but you'll need an adaptor (purchased at any electronics store) and it might reduce the life of your electronics.
Can you use a curling iron to solder?
No, curling irons can only reach 200F to 300F, to melt solder you need to reach at least 600F (which would catch hair on fire!).
The way a magnet works is they have magnetic Fields from the north and south pole.
A hybrid camcorder is a camcorder which can record onto multiple storage mediums. The main classifications of camcorder storage mediums are 1) Tape (MiniDV, HDV, DV, etc) 2) Flash Memory (SDHC, MemoryStick, etc) 3) Hard Drive 4) Optical Media (DVD, Blu-ray, CD) Each has their own benefits and drawbacks, so a hybrid camcorder is a camcorder which can record onto more than one media. See related links for details about different types of camcorders. For example, a MiniDV camcorder that can also record on a SDHC card. Or a Hard drive camcorder that can also record on memory stick.
Liquid crystals were studied by many people for some 80 years before they were successfully applied to information display during the 1960s. George H. Heilmeier was inducted in the National Inventors Hall of Fame and credited with the invention of Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs). Many others have worked over the years since to understand liquid crystals better and to improve LCDs.
How do you buy Mobile Phones from Egypt?
Well, it's pretty simple. Unlike the U.S, you don't have to buy a plan or anything. Just take your money, go to the shop, pay and get your Mobile :). Then buy a simcard, which is equivalent to about $3. Whenever you need to use the phone, buy a recharge card for the amount of money you want (very cheap) and recharge your pone credit :D
