It automatically starts charging the battery back up to its fully charged state. These batteries usually last about 10 years before they need replacing.

You can get a laser that clips on to the trigger guard. They are about $100 dollars for a small one. They have a button that you push, that is on the unit, on these modles, but they make some with the button that sticks onto the grip

A varistor is a variable resistor. It changes value dependent on the current draw and operates by changing its value as the resistor's temperature changes. For instance, during turn-on of a device, the resistor heats up causing the resistor to change it's value, thereby limiting the inrush current to the device. Rechargeable wet lead acid batteries use lead plates, lead oxide plate on positive electrode and an electrolyte solution of dilute sulphuric acid. They store energy in chemical form and it is converted to electricity. When a load is connected between the positive and negative terminals a chemical reaction causes electricity to flow through the load. Lead oxide changes to lead sulphate in the chemical reaction using sulphuric acid that releases electricity. Increasing amount of lead sulphate and reduced amount of sulphuric acid lead to dropping of current flow and this show the battery is discharged. By applying an external current to the terminals, this chemical reaction is reversed during a process known as charging.
