Coyotes are canines. They are related to wolves, foxes, and dogs. Coyotes are native to North America, and are found in nearly every one of the continental United States. They hunt and eat small animals like mice and prairie dogs, but they can also kill larger animals like deer.
Coyotes do eat birds and prey on reptiles and small rodents. They usually target animals they can capture such as birds that are low to the ground.

What kind of meat do you use for Chopped meat tacos?
beef, chicken,or pork, and actually you could use any kind of meat,If using beef, try a steak that is tender,I would go with a sirlion(choice),because it is usually cheaper, than a strip,or ribeye.Chop the meat into small chunks after cooking.I would also recomend, soaking the steak on a paper towel after cooking,to soak up some of the grease.Serve hot or warm.
A destructive program that masquerades as a benign application. Unlike viruses, Trojan horses do not replicate themselves but they can be just as destructive. One of the most insidious types of Trojan horse is a program that claims to rid your computer of viruses but instead introduces viruses onto your computer. If your system is attacked by the same please install the new Norton anti Virus 2008 or Norton Internet Security 2008
The last sighting of a Japanese wolf (Canis lupus hodophilax or Canis hodophilax) in Japan was a young male caught in Washikaguchi, Nara Prefecture in 1905, the fur and bones of which were put on display in the British Museum in London. Another subspecies (Canis lupus hattai), which used to live in the north of Honshu and in Hokkaido (the big island at the top of Japan) probably died out in about 1900 due to a program of extermination carried out by migrants who came to live there from the south at the end of the 19th century. Japanese people had lived in harmony with the wolf from ancient times. Unlike in Europe, there was little history of raising livestock for food, so less conflict with wild carnivores. In some places wolves were even formally worshipped as gods, and there are still shrines remaining where wolves are honored (for example Mitsumine Shrine in the Chichibu area). During the Edo period (1603 to 1867), however, they came to be seen as harmful because they could carry rabies, and because they had a bad image (wolf = evil) in other countries. This resulted in them being hunted to extinction. With the extinction of the wolf, the place it occupied in the food chain as a carnivore was left open, and now there are no natural predators (except man) to prevent 'over-population' of deer and wild pigs in some areas. At the present time there is renewed interest in Japan in reintroducing wolves to the wild, as has been done in the United States. One organization that promotes this idea is the Japan Wolf Association, which have a home page in English, linked below. http://www.japan-wolf.org/englishtop.htm

Are there a lot of coyotes in Illinois and what part has the most?
Yes there are a lot of coyotes in Illinois. I would say you can find them in almost any part of Illinois that is considered rural. They even show up in the burbs of Chicago but the large portion of coyotes remain in the areas less populated by man. That being said the central and southern parts of the state are less populated by humans and you will find a healthy population of coyotes in these regions of the state.
There are currently 19 recognized subspecies of Coyotes, 16 of which are in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. 3 are in Central America.
It is cousin to the Grey Wolf, which is Eurasian. It evolved in North American approx. 2 Million Years Ago. (so they say)
