There are marks on both the cam mounted gears and the crankshaft. The problem is that the 2.7 engine is an interference engine which means the valves will hit the pistons if it is out of time, when your belt broke it most likely bent some valves. The best thing to do is replace the engine with a 3.2 or 3.5, if you can find a 2.7 that is good you can do that but future issues can return do to poor design of that engine.

Depends which computer you are looking for...: The BCM (body control module) is located somewhere the dash, not too sure on the position of this one. The TCM (transmission control module) is located on the inside of the driver's fender. Remove the battery, and the battery tray and you will see it attached right to the fender, there should be 3 bolts to remove it and it comes out. The PCM, ECU (engine control module, powertrain control module, brain box, etc.) is located underneath the air filter assembly. Remove the accordian hose attaching the intake to the airbox then remove 2-3 bolts securing the airbox in and you will see it sitting underneath there.
