The fuel pump is located in the tank and if you have access in the trunk, it can be a pretty easy fix. Disconnect the negative battery wire before doing this. After this, simply remove the carpeted trim in trunk and towards the back there is a compartment. This compartment contains the pump. Remove the 4 screws and open the compartment. After doing this, there is a metal retaining band this is holding the pump in place. Remove the band, disconnect both fuel lines and disconnect the wiring harness. When new pump is added, reverse the steps and make sure both fuel lines are connected correctly, wiring harness is secured and retainer band is tightly in place.

Try checking the fuses (#15 and 16 in the fuse block) and if they are intact try changing the bulbs (be extremely careful doing this so as not to break anything); the low beam filament might have gone bad on both bulbs. If not there might be a problem with the metallic contact within the plastic connectors (very unlike that both would simultaneously fail but check any way) or a component (wire, and/or switch etc) in that particular circuit for the low beam.

You will need a service manual on this car, like a Haynes, Chilton or Alldata (I'm assuming this is a 2.7 liter) to really help you get this done right. The pictures in these books will help more than words alone. While you're in there, check the water pump (regardless of engine) and replace it. There are a lot of steps to get this done right, like purging the tensioner plunger (if installing a new chain) and lining up the colored links to the sprockets, etc. Again, this is not an easy job and you will wreck the engine if this isn't done right. In the meantime, don't move the camshafts or crank.
If this is a 3.5 liter, your job is going to be easier, but you will still need a manual. I would not return the used chain or belt to service as you're asking for trouble if you do.
