This is to protect the rest of the clutches and seals to prevent more damage internally. You need to check and replace the input and output speed sensor if necessary.

The battery light comes on when the alternator is either over or under charging. If the alternator tested good you have a wiring or computer problem. The engine computer is the voltage regulator.

you will need 2 floor jacks to support the subframe , one on each side. After sub-frame has been secured with the 2 jacks,loosen the 4 bolts that hold the subframe to the unibody of the car,now with the help of a sharp minded assistant,carefully and sincronizedly lower the jacks slowly, enough to permit you the removal of the bushings. A little prayer and lots of W-D 40 will make your job a lot easier and faster.

P0068 MAP/MAF - Throttle Position Correlation

symptoms
Engine will run rough, or idle rough
Engine may not accelerate well
May have a dead spot in acceleration

Cause
Dirty air cleaner, or obstruction in air flow
Vacuum leak between the MAF and intake manifold
Leak in the intake manifold
Bad sensor or connectors
Bad throttle body
Blocked hose from intake manifold to MAP sensor

the fix
Repair any vacuum leaks, inspect all hoses and connections
replace air filter or remove obstructions
Repair or replace any bad wire connectors
Clean any hoses that are gunked up
Test and or replace the MAF, TPS, and MAP sensors

If the same as my 94 Intrepid with the 3.3, it should be held on by 3 bolts, jack up drivers side of car, disconnect battery, unbolt, the starter shouldn't fall out, but make sure it comes out slow, and you disconnect the positive connection as well as the clip on piece that goes to the solenoid. Easy as pie.

OK, First off, lift the hood and set it up on the rod to hold it. Right in front if you look straight down by the hood latch you will see a couple of screws. Unscrew those. You will have to remove the front bumper completely, so unscrew any bolts holding it in place. I think theres about 4. The bumper is made of plastic so don't let it intimidate you. Now you will have to go around to the tire and disconnect the plastic fenders. With you facing the car, once you have completely taken off the front bumper and the inside fenders, look under the radiator and you will see the drain plug off to the right. After servicing, reverse the procedure and put everything back in order,thightning the bolts,etc.

I temperately installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge to determine what I had for oil pressure. With the engine warmed up, idling in drive, I had 18-20 psi. This is good but the light would still flicker even with a new sending unit.

The fix,

Disconnect the electrical plug at the oil pressure sending unit. Notice the unused spaces for extra wires that are plugged with rubber dummy plugs. Remove one of the dummy plugs in that connector and reconnect the plug and your problem is solved. I seen a TBS (Technical Service Bulletin) addressing that problem. It seems the oil pressure from the engine not only has to over come the spring inside the sending unit which is normal but it also has to compress the air trapped inside the weather tight connection which is not normal.
