Why won't the actuator switch unlock the front differential on 2000 dodge Dakota disengage. the front driveshaft remains engaged from the differential and spins even out of 4 wd. Is it a switch?

I do not think that there is a front axle disconnect. If there is then it is vacuum controlled and the problem is either a switch or a broken line.

Why when my Abs brakes get warm on a 86 Mark the the steering wheel shakes?

Sounds like your rotors need to be turned (replaced if necessary). Does the shake happen worse when braking at higher speeds? Id recommend you pull the rotors off and check for variances in thickness with a proper guage, get them turned, and go from there.

AnswerI agree. Sounds like the rotors are warpped.

I've had this problem and it turned out it was a bad caliper Do any of the wheels smoke when you stop ? Do you have a strong smell from any of the wheels? I would check to see if any of the wheels are locked up or rotate harder than should be.

Where is o2 sensor on 95 dodge spirit?

Oxygen Sensor Some vehicles have (2 ) or (4) O2 sensors. If you look inside the engine compartment right on the manifold is one O2 sensor, the other is underneath the vehicle about half way back in relation to the catalytic converter. If you see where the exhaust joints together.

When you start looking at the O2 sensors, they are normally numbered something like "Bank 1 Sensor 1" Bank 1 is on the passenger side; Bank 2 is on the driver's side. Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor (near the frame, between the block and the cat) and Sensor 2 is near the Y-pipe (downstream of the cat).

Normally it is the upstream sensors (sensor 1) that go first. They see the harshest conditions. You will need; Oxygen Sensor Socket Anti-Seized Penetrating Oil Sometimes it will take 15 minutes or take a few hours it depends on your luck...

2003 dodge ram 4.7l has water in the oil and white smoke?

probably a cracked block, blown head gasket. a compression test would help confirm as well as a leak-down, or vacuum test. white smoke could be a valve seal issue. regardless, it does not sound good for your engine. expensive to say the least. i own a '97 ram 360 magnum and that engine is known for poor block cooling at the rear of the block. you may want to check for technical service bulletins (TSB's) on your vehicle. type in anything like TSB's for 2003 ram, and you may find that you have a mechanical issue that other owner's have reported. Tech service bulletins will list model year/engine/description of problem/how to repair etc... an idea would be to modify your cooling system by tapping your block to run a couple of coolant lines into your block. another would be to add an oil cooler, deeper oil pan, radiator cap with higher pressure, a lower temp thermostat. these mods are done to cool high performance engines. i dont think they would cause any problems with your emissions, or vehicle ecu, but i am not familiar with your engine. i hope this helps

How do you reset the egr light on a 1987 dodge ram 50?

At the bottom of the instrument cluster bezel there are 2 rectangular plastic closeout "plugs". Carefully pry off the one on the right side off and look inside (may need flashlight). There is a switch with a sliding black button about 2 inches deep below where the closeout "plug" was. Slide the switch over to the other side and you should be done. Replace plug. Finished.

It is built into the cluster and can not be removed.

You don't have to remove it. Get on the net and type in "seat belt alarm stop". This is a product you can use on most any car. It clips into the seatbuckle and stops the alarm instantly. Lou B
