Dodge Stratus

If you can charge a cellphone in the lighter socket, then the lighter is no good. If a cellphone won't charge, then the lighter cylinder is no good. Both are available at any autoparts store.

It is more involved that most vehicles. Just finished doing this on my 2002 Stratus 2.4L. You pretty much have to remove the passenger tire and wheel wall to do it, but I was able to do it myself and am not a mechanic.

Note: I offer this solely as a description of how I accomplished it on my own. It should not be taken as me advising you or anyone in any way on how or whether they manage to repair their own vehicles.

1) Engaged parking brake, loosened lugs on passenger front tire.

2) Jacked-up and placed jack-stand.

3) Removed piece of black under-carriage which surrounds the oil filter and attaches to front bumper. There are at least 10 plastic push-pins to remove and I managed to destroy half of them in the process.

4) Positoned belt over lower pulleys and tensioner (as best as possible) then used a bungee to hold the top end of belt up while I worked under the car.

5) Used a 3/8 ratchet and inserted into square hole attached to the tensioner, disengaged the tensioner (moves clockwise) then used a brace to keep the ratchet handle in that position. (Or line up the holes in the tensioner arm and back late and insert a 4mm drill bit to hold the tensioner off)

6) From top, removed bungee and finished placing belt over alternator, checked the position of entire belt, reengaged the tensioner, and replaced wall and wheel.

I assume you mean the fuse keeps blowing? It's certainly possible for the lighter element itself to go bad as well as the socket you plug it into. Also, there are often other circuits that use the same fuse.

Most often caused by a bad brake light switch. Can be caused by corroded conections or damaged wiring, Remote car starter installers are famous for causing this fault.

Jack up left front of vehicle and remove left front tire. Remove left front inner splash guard.remove battery holdown,negative battery terminal and thenpositive terminal.Remove battery through inner fender well and replace with new.reverse order for installation.

There isn't one. It's fuel injected.

The most common cause of a automobile stalling, while driving, is and electronic fuel pump going bad. The vehicle will begin to stall more and more and eventually not run at all.

That would directly relate to how long you want your engine to last.

No kidding... The oil is the lifeblood of the engine - without it, or not enough of it, the extreme stresses of all those moving metal parts will rapidly wear the surfaces and dramatically shorten of the life of the engine.

Skimp on many things, but never skimp on taking car of the engine oil.

with a three jaw puller

Its located in the power distribution box under the hood in cavity number 60.............

not sure if yours is the same as my 2002 3.0 stratus but it is in the fuel tank. If you remove the back seat there is a panel you can remove that will give you access above the gas tank. Saving you the hassle of dropping the tank.

it is inside of gas tank which has to be pulled, out, the rear seat has to removed also

OPen your hood and look at the lights, there are two adjustment screws, one for horizontal and one vertical, do it at night and adjust according by turning the screws clockwise or counterclockwise.

Not a job for a Novice as you have to lower the fuel tank as it is ontop of it ......

this is a correct answer from the manual and the gap spacing of the spark plug is .044

It is on the back of the block, above the oil pan, near the bellhousing.

The engine computer is the voltage regulator.

Probably in line with tail lights.
