If I'm Working ninety six hours in a two week pay period do I get paid for the ninety six hours or just for 80 I get paid the last day of the month and the 15th. I'm hourly.?

It might depend on the state you are in, but if you are an hourly employee, and Over time exempt, you should be paid for all 96 hours. Again, over time laws differ by state, but typically you would be paid time and a half for about 16 of those hours.

Additional Info

Hourly employees are usually compensated at time-and-a-half for hours worked over the normal 40 or 80 hours pay period. So you should get 80 hours pay PLUS 16 hours at the premium rate, which would equal 104 straight time hours paid. The caveat here is whatever your written contract as an hourly states - if it says there is no overtime rate of pay, then you would receive straight time for all hours worked.

Salaried employees would be compensated just 80 hours regardless of how many hours spent on the job.

Your boyfriend slept with his boss before he and you were together you just found out about it-she sent him a sweet bday text-and now he's going to quit Is it ethical for him to get a letter of reccom?

Ah yes ethics...Well ask yourself if it was ethical of the boss being conscious of her position, sleeping with your b.f??

I suppose its not ethical because the recommendation maybe contaminated with her personal feelings towards him but this also happens in most places. It is also possible that she simply gives the recommendation based solely on his work and skills. So it all depends on the recommendation itself.

How much space would 10 pounds of air fill?

The answer would depend on the altitude (or depth) of the air you're measuring. Because air can be compressed, the weight of the atmosphere (or atmosphere plus water if it is submerged) on top of the air you're measuring determines the volume, or space, the air takes up. The more the weight, the smaller the space the compressed air would take up. Temperature is also a factor as air becomes denser and compresses (the molecules become more tightly packed) as it gets colder.

What is the ice covering Pluto?

The ice covering Pluto is primarily composed of frozen nitrogen, methane, and carbon monoxide. These compounds freeze on Pluto's surface due to its extremely low temperatures, reaching as low as -375 degrees Fahrenheit. The ice gives Pluto its distinctive white appearance when viewed from afar.

How much does a gas giant planet weigh?

Weight has little meaning in space. Gas giants vary considerably in mass. Uranus has a mass 0f 8.68*10^25 kilograms (14.5 times the mass of Earth) while Jupiter has a mass of 1.90*10^27 kg (318 times the mass of Earth). Gas giants may exist up to about 13 times the mass of Jupiter. Above that limit an object would generally be considered a brown dwarf, which is an intermediate category between a planet and a star.

Are any stars bigger than Pluto?

Yes - all of them! Stars are suns like our sun, and are very, very big! They only look small because they are many many many billions and trillions of miles away.

Pluto is so small it is not even considered a geuine planet any more: it's not much bigger than our moon, and in planetary terms the moon is quite small.

What is the highest the sun gets in central Florida?

The coordinates I will use are for 28 degrees north, 82 degrees west. This point is very near Lakeland. This point is not very far from the tropic of cancer, but no part of the continental US reaches it. On June 20 2008 the sun will reach an altitude of 84 degrees 28 minutes 22 seconds at 12:31:38.

How big is the planet Pluto?

Pluto is 2,304 kilometers (1,432 miles) at the equator, and is only about the size of Russia. Pluto only has a mass of about one 400th that of Earth. Pluto is composed of several different materials, Pluto's thin crust is simply composed of ice, Pluto's mantel is quite rich in water and ice, Pluto's large core is probably about 70% rock, and 30% water ice. Radioactivity in the rock has warmed the interior, ensuring Pluto is spherical and differentiated; rock has sunk to the center and water ice has formed a surface layer. also present are ices of nitrogen, carbon monoxide, and methane.
