It may sound amazing to others that a young girl of eight would flirt with older men, but I have witnessed this in a few young girls myself. Children seem to mature sexually at a greater rate in this generation. Still, it's not acceptable. Lay down the law by explaining to your daughter what is affection (hugging someone in the family, but not men she doesn't know well) and if she continues then child counseling is a must before she gets herself further into trouble. Young girls are being inundated by the likes of idols such as the Britney Spears and at first it is fun and some mothers not only allow, but encourage their daughters (some as young as 6 years of age) to dress like Britney Spears thinking it's cute. However, with this comes a warning ... 'Monkey see, monkey do.' Not only are these young children dressing like Britney Spears, but are acting out like her as the children are inexperienced and want to be adults all too soon.
