Why did Italy attacked Ethiopia in 1935?

Italy had wanted to expand her colonies in Africa and was probably still smarting from her defeat in Ethiopia/Abyssinia at the battle of Adwa in 1896. Italy also held territory adjoining Ethiopia, (Italian Somaliland), and was able to build up her troops there. It was probably seen as an easy conquest at the time. This is all bull crap by the way, im just trying to gain attention....

Is the New World Translation Bible by Jehovah's Witnesses as racist as other bibles in their description of Ethiopians at Isaiah 18 verses 1 to 2?

The King James Version comes pretty close to the New World Translation in its racist description of Ethiopians, but that is expected since it was written centuries ago when there was much ignorance about the Dark Continent and its people. The New World Translation however, was published in 1950 and so its racism can only be deliberate. Today's bibles are more complimentary in their description of Ethiopians, notably the Sunrise Good News Bible. Compare the following bible translations:

New World Translation

Ha for the land of the whirring insects with wings, which is in the region of the rivers of Ethiopia. It is the one sending forth envoys by means of the sea, and by means of vessels of papyrus upon the surface of the waters, [saying:] "Go YOU swift messengers, to a nation drawn out and scoured, to a people fear-inspiring everywhere, a nation of tensile strength and of treading down, whose land the rivers have washed away." (Isaiah 18:1-2)

King James Version

Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia: That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled. (Isaiah 18:1-2)

New International Version - Rainbow Study Bible

Woe to the land of whirring wings along the rivers of Cush, which sends envoys by sea in papyrus boats over the water. Go swift messengers, to a people tall and smooth-skinned, to a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers. (Isaiah 18:1-2)

New Living Translation - Life Application Study Bible

Listen Ethiopia - land of fluttering sails that lies at the headwaters of the Nile, that sends ambassadors in swift boats down the river. Go, swift messengers! Take a message to a tall, smooth-skinned people, who are feared far and wide for their conquests and destruction, and whose land is divided by rivers. (Isaiah 18:1-2)

Sunrise Good News Bible

Beyond the rivers of Ethiopia there is a land where the sound of wing is heard. From that land ambassadors come down the Nile in boats made of reeds. Go back home, swift messengers! Take a message back to your land divided by rivers, to your strong and powerful nation, to your tall and smooth-skinned people, who are feared all over the world. (Isaiah 18:1-2)

Answer

The Bible gives many different descriptions of people which could be called negative. This is especially so in relation to God's own chosen people the Jews. The English also contains much imagery which is translated directly from the Hebrew, imagery with which westerners might not be familiar.

It is not at all certain that there is anything racist in the passage itself, especially in the light of the fact that the Bible does not recognize the concept of race but only of nations. Thus, the anti-KJV presupposition does not appear warranted, nor its implications.

The Bibles not racist and if you think so get a life
