There are several ethnic groups in these regions. There are the Bhote, Tibetans, Sherpa, Kashyap Gotra, Uttarakhand, Tharu, and others.

Racism can not be positive in the society we have today. The only way racism might be positive is in a closed off, homogeneous community where there are no difference in culture, language, or overall appearance of individuals.

I say again, in the informational age we live in today, it is impossible for racism to be positive.

Speaking in general terms, the merging of one culture into another may be called by many different names: "transculturation", "development", "eclecticism", "assimilation", "blending", or even "annexation". However, there are some forms of ethnocentrism that focus more on values and less on appearance, such as patriotism in New World countries. It depends what part of the country or world you are talking about. If you are in California it will be a very long list because there are so many diferent ethnicities in California. There are Hispanics, Whites, African American, Asians, and Arabs who make a large population of Los Angeles. They all make almost the same because they are all succesfull. If you are in South Dakota where there is a very large majority of whites the whites win for the reason of not much diversity of people.
