Euthanasia

Most dogs are put down humanely with euthanasia. When your veterinarian gives your dog (or any other animal) euthanasia they give the animal a standard injection which is like a vaccine which causes the animals heat to stop painlessly. Euthanasia is the most humane gift you can give your animal when their time has come. Also when people don't have enough money or they live in a poor country they might decide to shoot the animal.

It better be regulated by a state

Many people believe that killing animals is wrong because just as people do,animals have a right to a long healthy life.Though there are not painkillers for every disease,there are cures for many of the things that animals are put to sleep for.If euthanasia were illegal these would be used fereqently.When the time comes for the animal to die naturally,he should die knowing he had one last day on earth with the people he loved and loved him.

Euthanasia is something that is used when an animal is very ill and its quality of life would be very poor. Euthanasia is a good thing when it is used that way.

You would doubtless have heard of this doctor who has spent years campaigning for voluntary euthanasia.

I watched a documentary on TV about a year ago, which told the story of a guy who wanted to kill himself, through "legal" channels. He had to go to Mexico and pick up the nembutan (sp?) himself and travel to, probably, The Netherlands with it, I have no idea how he got it through customs. Now this would hardly be possible with any suspicious liquids being withdrawn.

He was provided with a companion who took him to a hotel room, and showed him how to use the nembutan, and left the room, whilst the patient mixed it up, and took it. I cannot remember if the attendant stayed in the room with the patient, until he passed, but after that, I think, the attendant came back and "cleaned up".

At present, in most countries, assisting suicide is not legal, so the law makers and the courts have absolutely no idea of what compassion really is.

Singapore does allow passive euthanasia. They must sign a legal document. Someone trying to commit suicide in Singapore, however, can be punished by being put in jail.

Euthanasia can only be justified when it is assisted suicide. if the decision is made because of cost then it is execution.

Euthanasia (mercy killing) is the act of assisting someone to kill themselves. It can be voluntary for example someone who is consciously making the decision to end their own life, or it can be an involuntary decision like taking someone off life support who has been in a coma for a while.

Utilitarians believe that any action should cause the greatest happiness for the greatest number, and the end result is what should determine the moral worth of the initial action.

They believe that since euthanasia will decrease misery and pain then it is morally right. One has complete sovereign over their body and any decisions to be made about one's body are up to them and no other authority. If one prefers to die than suffer any more pain, it is ultimately their own decision and the government should have no right to interfere.

I feel that the answer is : does the pain overide quality of life, because in the end pain management will probably win

There are many different ideas on who invented euthanasia, but the most often agreed with is the Nazi physicians came up with it to give the "good death" to the handicapped kids.

When an animal becomes a danger to humans, there is no choice but to kill it. Some animals that bite may have rabies. Animals with rabies absolutely must be killed, because they're dangerous; they can pass down the deadly disease onto us by just one bite. In my opinion, any dangerous animal should be euthanized.

honour killing:- when a persons kills a member of his family to safe-guard the honour of his family...for example In 2008 a woman was killed in Saudi Arabia by her father for "chatting" to a man on Facebook.
